The collaboration combines Ouster's high-resolution, rugged Rev8 OS1 Max digital lidar with Seneca's autonomous drone platform to enhance perception, navigation, and obstacle avoidance in demanding outdoor environments. By integrating the digital lidar into its perception stack, Seneca aims to enable its drones to operate safely at higher speeds across the three mission areas that define its platform: carrying heavy cargo to the fire line, following terrain for mapping and vegetation management, and inspecting structures and utility infrastructure. Longer range gives an aircraft more time to react to what is ahead, and 256 channels at up to 4K horizontal resolution hold that detail as speed increases.

$OUST added again today. Feels good to be stepping in before the next monster wave. They didn’t expand the factory line for nothing to happen. The waves of orders coming in are going to be tremendous and 30-50% annual growth on comps will start to look harder to achieve, but it will happen. I’m holding these shares to try to get the top of that next wave until Angus says we are well into the game. He’s been a sober reminder to sell euphoria for now. Once he says it’s game time you just start buying calls and raking it in.

$OUST Actually, quite the contrary. Ouster's entire goal is to scale to the point that ASP for sensors are down so that demand can explode upward. At the price points of the past, the company couldn't grow the extent that it will in the future. But, you get a C- for effort!

$OUST rivian just said Lidar cost. “Hundreds” of dollars now, not thousands like a few years ago. That can’t be good for Ouster.
