(SRPT) snapped a five-session winning streak on Monday as investors repositioned ahead of the company’s fourth-quarter (Q4) earnings report, with institutional flows and bear positioning drawing fresh attention.<a href="https://stocktwits.com/symbol/SRPT">SRPT stock</a> slid 4% to $18.12 in Monday’s regular session.<h2 class="st-heading-2">SRPT: Wall Street Braces For Weaker Q4 Print</h2>According to Koyfin estimates, Sarepta is expected to report&nbsp;<a href="https://stocktwits.com/news-articles/markets/equity/capricor-vs-sarepta-two-dmd-stocks-enter-high-stakes-week-which-has-more-upside/cZRtmevR4Uw">Q4 revenue</a> of $390.95 million, down from $399.36 million in the prior quarter.Earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization (EBITDA) are projected to widen to a loss of $144.34 million, compared with a loss of $91.17 million in the previous quarter. Earnings before interest and taxes (EBIT) are expected at a loss of $136.41 million, versus $103.39 million previously. Adjusted earnings per share are forecast at a loss of $0.77, compared with a loss of $0.13 in the prior quarter.The results come as Sarepta continues to navigate regulatory scrutiny and legal uncertainty tied to its Duchenne muscular dystrophy gene therapy, Elevidys.Koyfin data show a 12-month average price target of $21.43, implying a 14% upside from current levels. Among 26 analysts covering Sarepta, seven rate the stock ‘Buy’, fourteen rate it ‘Hold’, three rate it ‘Sell’, and two rate it ‘Strong Sell’.<h2 class="st-heading-2">Heavy Institutional Support For SRPT In February</h2>February institutional filings tracked by Quiver Quantitative show that several of the world’s largest asset managers continued to hold or add sizeable positions in Sarepta.Among recently reported institutional moves tracked by Quiver, 134 investors increased positions, 61 initiated new positions, and 44 held positions steady. On the other hand, 93 investors reduced positions, while 41 fully exited their holdings.BlackRock remained the largest holder, reporting 14.28 million shares, an increase of 1.08 million shares, valued at about $307.4 million as of Dec. 31, 2025. Vanguard Group followed with 11.81 million shares, adding 993,283 shares for a reported value of $254.2 million. State Street Corp increased its stake by 1.29 million shares to 6.60 million shares, a 24% jump, with a market value of $142 million.AQR Capital Management stood out among active managers, lifting its position to 7.8 million shares after adding 6.39 million shares, a 455% increase, valued at $167.8 million. Quant-focused firms also added exposure, with Two Sigma Investments raising its stake by 303,691 shares to 2.44 million, while Two Sigma Advisors added 113,300 shares to reach 2.07 million. (TARA) fell nearly 15% in extended trading on Monday, even as the company reported strong response rates and favorable tolerability in its ongoing Phase 2 bladder cancer trial.TARA stock jumped 9% on Monday’s regular session to $7.43, hitting its highest levels in three months and its best session in nearly a month.<h2 class="st-heading-2">Phase 2 Trial Shows Strong Efficacy Signals</h2>The after-hours move followed updated interim results from Protara’s open-label Phase 2 Advanced-2 trial, which is testing TARA-002 as a bladder-delivered treatment in patients with high-risk non-muscle invasive bladder cancer. The study includes patients whose cancer has returned despite standard BCG therapy, as well as patients who have not previously received BCG, a commonly used bladder cancer treatment.Among patients whose cancer recurred after standard BCG treatment, 66% of the 35 patients evaluated achieved a complete response at some point during the study. Among those assessed at six months, 68% were cancer-free, while 33% remained cancer-free at 12 months. Statistical estimates showed a 71% probability of maintaining a complete response for at least six months, and 62% of patients who required re-treatment later achieved a complete response within six months.In patients who had not previously received BCG, 72% achieved a complete response at some point, with 66% cancer-free at six months and 58% at 12 months. Statistical estimates indicated a 73% probability of maintaining a response for at least six months, and 67% of re-treated patients achieved a complete response by six months.<h2 class="st-heading-2">Safety Profile Remains Clean</h2>The company also said the trial noted a favorable safety and tolerability profile for TARA-002. Most treatment-related adverse events were Grade 1 and transient, with no Grade 3 or higher events reported and no treatment-related serious adverse events observed. No patients discontinued treatment due to adverse events.“In addition to demonstrating impressive efficacy and safety, TARA-002 overcomes the limitations of existing NMIBC treatments that burden patients as well as urologists and their practices,” said CEO Jesse Shefferman.The most commonly reported side effects included dysuria, bladder spasm, fatigue and urinary urgency, with bladder irritation typically resolving within hours to a few days after administration.<h2 class="st-heading-2">Analysts Remain Bullish Despite Selloff</h2>Despite the after-hours decline, analyst sentiment toward the stock remains positive. Koyfin estimates show a 12-month average price target of $25.5, implying a potential upside of more than 240% from current levels.The stock carries a consensus rating of ‘Strong Buy’, with seven covering analysts. Of them, one rates the stock a ‘Strong Buy’, while six rate it ‘Buy.’<h2 class="st-heading-2">Advanced-3 Trial Planned for 2026</h2>Protara said it expects to complete enrollment in the Advanced-2 trial cohort of patients whose cancer returned after standard BCG treatment in the second half of 2026. The bulk of that revenue came from its 50% income sharing deal with Circle (CRCL) on USDC (USDC) reserves.&nbsp;According to the&nbsp;<a class="st-link-external" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" href="https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2026-02-23/coinbase-stablecoin-revenue-poised-for-up-to-sevenfold-surge-bi-says">report</a>, that income could increase two to seven times once adoption accelerates under the GENIUS Act. However, negotiations over the market structure bill in Washington could bar crypto exchanges like Coinbase from offering rewards tied to stablecoins. If that were to happen, the its revenue-sharing agreement with Circle is likely to be impacted, the report said.The ability to continue to pay stablecoin rewards is just one of several factors for Coinbase to reach seven-fold growth. “They would need favorable details of the eventual crypto bill,” wrote Bloomberg Intelligence analyst Paul Gulberg.&nbsp;<h2 class="st-heading-2">Wall Street Signals More Downside Risk</h2>However, not everyone&nbsp;<a href="https://stocktwits.com/news-articles/markets/equity/buy-coinbase-shorts-despite-selloff-monness-crespi-tells-investors/cZRM5hcR4z2">agrees</a> that regulation moves will turn out in Coinbase’s favour. According to Monness Crespi analyst Gus Gala, the probability assigned to the CLARITY Act passing "remains too high in certain corners." In a note to investors on Monday cited by TheFly, she added that clarity on the stablecoin loophole remaining open in the next draft of CLARITY Act "is far too optimistically priced in."The drop in COIN’s stock came Gala told investors to short the shares, anticipating the stock price to fall further. Gala attributed Monday’s drop in Coinbase shares to President Donald Trump's tariff moves, continued exchange traded fund outflows (ETFs), and "signs of whales moving HODLs onto exchanges."&nbsp; The firm reiterated a ‘Sell’ rating on the stock with a $120 price target – a potential downside of 25% from Monday’s close.On Friday, Baird analyst Robert Bamberger lowered the price target on Coinbase to $165 from $240 and kept a ‘Neutral’ rating on the shares.<h2 class="st-heading-2">Coinbase CEO Sees Upside Even Without Stablecoin Rewards</h2>According to Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong, the company could see more profit if it were prohibited from offering yield on stablecoins.“It would actually make us more profitable because we would just continue to receive the economics from Circle,” Armstrong told investors in latest earnings call. “Today, we pass majority of that along to the customer.
