$CVRX My take: a large 3-day presentation/event could have required roughly $350K–$400K in cash. With CVRx needing to preserve cash, they may have used the ATM and sold ~150K–200K shares instead of funding it directly from cash. That could explain the sharp selloff on Sept. 30. Once $2.50 and then $2.00 broke, stop-losses and forced selling likely accelerated the move. The market was already fragile after weeks of negative sentiment, turning the drop into panic selling (-35%). Oct. 1 continued the selloff, but less violently — like aftershocks following an earthquake. Today the market looks a bit calmer. I expect a recovery toward $2 next week. If Chernett files that he increased his stake even 1% — and he could potentially go much higher, possibly toward 10% — that could materially improve sentiment. At $1.55, increasing his position would also significantly lower his average cost. If that happens before the presentation, a move back toward $2.30–$2.50 is possible. Oct. 11

$CVRX Today is the end of the quarter. Probably seeing some fund(s) dumping shares to get them off their books.

$CVRX I wanted to reshare 's post as well as some screenshots of ChatGPT's partial feedback to it because I think it's important to do our best to stay grounded in verifiable fact as best as we can, while also being accurate in our distinction between speculative explanations and observable fact. Speculating is fine, but I believe it is best to be open and honest about things as best as we can, in my opinion. I have no position here at this time, but I am considering starting one.

$CVRX The board could open the search for an acquirer. this would immediately rise the stock price and guarantee also to sell the company/business for a decent amount making the interest of shareholders. A company should serve SHAREHOLDERS not management. I believe the activist shareholder with his letter was right.

$CVRX Why Chernett should have sold all at once the entire amount of stocks to just see its price fall so much? is it possible he is going to build a new position at a lower entry price and wanted to send a msg to management? it sounds indeed a bit counterproductive what he did from a pure disposal strategy

$CVRX it lost 40% in a couple of days! They need to immediately look for strategic alternatives!

$CVRX can we expect now an announce to appoint an advisor to explore opportunities? this company is too small to be competitive it NEEDS to be integrated in a larger company

$CVRX : Hard to admit to have been suckered for all of these years, but no sense in ignoring the truth. Retail shareholders have been done real dirty here.

$CVRX I put the odds of an acquisition pretty low here. Chernett calling for a sale makes it possible, but the CFO hire doesn’t scream M&A to me. If anything, it looks like they hired a guy with capital markets experience to help finance the next phase. Given the cash burn, I think another meaningful raise is much more likely.

$CVRX now would be a great time for the board to buy some shares if they like their plan so much

$CVRX haven't checked my holding on this in a long time. Wtf happened. Thought I was sitting pretty with 8.00 avg.

$CVRX : For all the people talking about being factual, one would think they would mention that the stock continues to sell off, there is no reason or indication that anybody meaningful is increasing their position, and the company has remained completely silent about what is going on since the Pointillist Letter roughly 1 months ago. There's nothing to see here, folks. Shareholders are completely at the mercy of a Managment team that has run this ship so far on the rocks that the hull is torn from bow to stern.

$CVRX bad time to need cash with interest rates as they are… having said that, data looks good. You don’t have eight sessions at a heart failure conference for something that doesn’t work.

$CVRX there must be a reason why a big medtech pharma doesn't step in and buy out the co. I mean, any shareholder would now hand their shares at, say, 4$.

$CVRX -- is it possible to sue the officer of a company who obviously did not meet his fiduciary duty, i.e. disposing of an ungodly amount of shares in the middle of a downturn?
MSG8898
$CVRX hikes, now we know who crushed the stock price. It was trading at 2.5$ per share before he started selling. I wonder if it could ever recover to at least that price. But dudes, they need to partner in Europe, they are clearly not able to build a sales force there.

$CVRX very disappointing, but the sell off makes this attractive for an acquisition imo. J&J still in for 15%??

$CVRX The Nasdaq tests that matter $1 minimum bid price. There's a cushion at $1.75, but not much given how fast the stock is falling. A notice comes only after 30 straight business days below $1. Then the company typically gets 180 days to fix it, often with a reverse split. Equity or market value. A company only has to pass one of these: at least $10M in stockholders' equity, or at least $50M market value of listed securities (on the Global/Global Select tiers, which I believe is where CVRx is listed). The second test is the more immediate problem. It's losing roughly $10–14M a quarter, so stockholders' equity was likely near $10M at Sept 30. That's my estimate; the Q3 10-Q will show the actual figure. By year-end, equity could be close to zero. Market value is already below $50M. If both stay below their thresholds, a notice is plausible around the Q3 or Q4 filing.
