However, on Stocktwits, retail sentiment around the company improved to ‘extremely bullish’ from ‘bullish’ over the past day, as chatter surged to ‘extremely high’ from ‘low’ levels.Roblox reported a loss per share of $0.37, less than the estimated loss of $0.51, according to Koyfin data. Its revenue came in at $1.36 billion, a 48% growth year-over-year, but missed the $1.7 billion expected by Wall Street.<h2 class="st-heading-2">Temporary Margin Compression, Long-Term Payoff</h2>Baszucki framed the margin decline as a deliberate, short-term sacrifice to fuel growth. “It’s this spending that’s going to weigh down margins, sort of preparing for the future,” he said.&nbsp;The company reported 150 million daily active users, up from 100 million a year ago, alongside a 70% year-over-year rise in bookings to $1.9 billion. Circle’s Stock Falls To 3-Week Lows Amid Crypto Market Sell-Off 

Stocktwits data showed that chatter around Circle’s stock increased 120% over 24 hours, as of Friday morning. 

Meta Platforms (META) announced on Wednesday that it is investing $1.5 billion to build a data center in El Paso.<a href="http://stocktwits.com/symbol/META">META’s stock</a> was down more than 4.5% in Wednesday’s midday trade. Retail sentiment around the company on Stockwits dipped to ‘bearish’ from ‘neutral’ territory while chatter remained at ‘high’ levels over the past day.&nbsp;The Mark Zuckerberg-led company said the data center is designed to scale to a gigawatt (GW) and is intended to support its growing artificial intelligence (AI) workload. It also touted that the plant will create 1,800 construction jobs at its peak and around 100 operational jobs once complete.&nbsp;Meta said it plans to integrate a closed-loop liquid-cooling system that will use zero water for most of the year, contributing to the company’s broader water-positive goal by 2030. The company said it will also source 100% of the center’s electricity from renewable energy. Meta also noted that in the company’s agreement with El Paso Electric, it has paid for new grid infrastructure required to connect the data center, including new transmission lines and substations.The tech giant added that the El Paso data center will complement Meta’s AI initiatives by powering applications ranging from AI assistants and live translations to video editing tools.&nbsp;This new data center will be the third entity the company has set up in Texas, in addition to the data centers in Forth Worth and Temple. Meta Announces Plans For $1.5 Billion AI Data Center In El Paso

The Mark Zuckerberg-led company said the data center is designed to scale to a gigawatt and is intended to support its growing artificial intelligence workload. 

Kerrisdale Capital on Wednesday disclosed a short position on Tom Lee-led Bitmine Immersion Technologies (BMNR), stating that the digital asset treasury (DAT) playbook has become “basic and unoriginal.”<a href="http://stocktwits.com/symbol/BMNR">BMNR’s stock</a> continued to gain in morning trade, up 1.5%. Retail sentiment on Stocktwits, however, dipped to ‘neutral’ from ‘bullish’ over the past day.The equities market has seen a surge in companies pivoting to holding cryptocurrencies on their balance sheets as the Trump administration took a friendlier stance on regulation. “As near-idential copycats overwhelm the market, premiums are collapsing and the ability to issue shares well above NAV to boost&nbsp;ETH-per-share is disappearing,” the research firm said.Kerrisdale Capital pointed to Michael Saylor-backed Strategy (MSTR) as an example of reducing net asset value (NAV). “The OG DAT, MSTR, has seen its premium slide from 2-2.5x NAV to around 1.4x after unpopular financings &amp; policy reversals broke the spell,” it said. “If the pioneer with a cult following can’t keep the magic alive, no one can.”It added that BMNR’s&nbsp;premium has also been sliding lower, and will probably “continue bleeding” until it reaches or falls below the NAV. “The lower it goes, the slower the ETH-per-share accretion, until it collapses below 1,” the firm said.BMNR is currently the largest Ethereum holding DAT in the market with more than&nbsp;two million tokens in its treasury, followed by SharpLink (SBET),&nbsp;which has around 800 million tokens. According CoinGecko data, there are around 13 companies with Ethereum on their balance sheets. This includes companies like Fundamental Global (FGNX) and BitDigital (BTBT),&nbsp;which also announced the&nbsp;inclusion of&nbsp;Ethereum as a part of their long-term treasury strategy this year.In addition to reducing returns, Kerrisdale Capital also critiqued Lee’s leadership. “Tom Lee has proven to be an underwhelming meme lord. No cat videos. No speeches to mortgage your house to buy ETH,” it said. “Poor utilization of caps lock, emojis, GIFs, AI slop. Too TradFi and boring, Lee pales in comparison to Saylor and Chamath [Palihapitiya].”The firm clarified that it’s not short on Ethereum but&nbsp;that it is skeptical of BMNR because the company’s “whole pitch is to get investors to overpay for copying a playbook that no longer works.”&nbsp;<a href="http://stocktwits.com/symbol/ETH.X">Ethereum’s price</a> was trading at around $4,500 in early morning trade after more than 4% in the last 24 hours.Meanwhile, Consensys co-founder Joseph Lubin reportedly said that Ethereum (ETH)-holding digital asset treasury (DAT) companies could evolve into the “Berkshire Hathaway” as the financial landscape shifts.“The real opportunity is to be the Berkshire Hathaway of the next global economy, the more decentralized global economy,” he&nbsp;<a class="st-link-external" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" href="https://cointelegraph.com/news/ethereum-dats-the-next-berkshire-hathaway-consensys-founder">told</a> CoinTelegraph on sidelines of Token2049 in Singapore. Coinbase (COIN) secured a partial victory in court on Wednesday after a federal judge allowed a limited shareholder lawsuit to advance while rejecting broader allegations against the company.According to a&nbsp;<a class="st-link-external" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" href="https://www.reuters.com/legal/government/coinbase-face-narrowed-shareholder-lawsuit-2025-10-01/">report</a> by Reuters, U.S. District Judge Brian Martinotti in Newark, New Jersey, dismissed many claims but declined Coinbase’s request for a full dismissal. The report stated the ruling permits some shareholder claims tied to specific statements by company executives and directors to move forward.<a href="http://stocktwits.com/symbol/COIN">COIN’s stock</a> moved 3% higher in midday trade with retail sentiment on Stocktwits around the cryptocurrency exchange rising to ‘bullish’ from ‘bearish’ over the past day. The rally also comes amid rising strength in the cryptocurrency market. Bitcoin’s (BTC) price crossed $117,000 at the time of writing, having risen as much as 3.8% in the last 24 hours.&nbsp;The lawsuit alleged that Coinbase misled investors into believing it was unlikely the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) would accuse the company of operating as an unregistered securities exchange. Shareholders also claimed Coinbase downplayed risks that customers could lose assets if the company entered bankruptcy.Martinotti rejected claims based on “group pleading,” which attributes alleged misstatements to all executives collectively. “Where plaintiffs have appropriately provided defendant-by-defendant particularity, the claims must remain,” Martinotti wrote.The decision comes after the SEC announced in February 2025 that it would dismiss its 2023 lawsuit accusing Coinbase of operating as an unregistered securities exchange. Coinbase Wins Partial Dismissal In Shareholder Lawsuit: Report 

According to a report by Reuters, U.S. District Judge Brian Martinotti dismissed many claims but declined Coinbase’s request for a full dismissal.

(TSLA) stock fell 0.74% in the early premarket session on Wednesday, signaling a potential reversal after six consecutive sessions of gains.The recent winning streak helped the&nbsp;<a href="https://stocktwits.com/symbol/TSLA">Tesla stock</a> turn to the black for the year. For the year-to-date period, the stock has gained about 4.40% as CEO Elon Musk reaffirmed his commitment to the electric-venture business he runs by buying $1 billion worth of stock. Musk, who has multiple ventures, also suggested that he would spend more of his time on Tesla. Also buoying sentiment is analysts' expectation of a delivery beat for the third quarter.The rally has pushed the stock’s 14-day relative-strength index (RSI), a momentum indicator, to a level suggesting extremely overbought conditions. Wednesday’s premarket weakness could also indicate&nbsp;profit-taking on the recent gain ahead of a key risk event.
