We survived the baby bells and the long road from landline to mobile getting absolutely ripped off by government and oligopolies because communication is everything today as much as anthropic, google, meta, open ai, and elon can be evil, gross, and rich, having 5-10 mega planets battle each other for our attention is better than 1 or 2 or 3 While we will have to deal with 10 overlords its better than 1 (in my opinion) as they will have to keep each other honest definitely NOT free market or perfect but still better than any realistic alternative while these 5-10 companies are also pushing th4e dommer narrative we know that they live and die by the customer and dont want world to end doomers still make no real case of how all this doom actually happens because doom is really just about attention and clicks and likely sponsored by the same 5-10 companies anyways to help build regulatory moat I have never been more cynical - I am sure thaat is age related but selling gloom and doom has never been easier or more wrong. thoughts? $VZ $NVDA $GOOG $META $TSLA

$VZ I'm scratching my head trying to figure out who would actually switch their cell phone plan to starlink when we have plenty of options that work fine? Is musk planning to undercut everyone else to get customers? That's the only path forward I see for starlink, and with that the bandwidth will be limited due to satellite limitations.

No competition but actual limits in competition and price increases. If you account for inflation, these legacy companies spent over a trillion the last 30 years, nobody is replacing them. PE ratios this low should be a crime, raised guidance and aggressive elimination of debt with huge buy backs is the best insurace. This ladies and gentleme is a rare opportunity if you know anything about tech and telecom, buy all you can before the morons wake up.

This issue has been analyzed by analysts before and their conclusions indicated little risk and easily managed risk by giants like Verizon and the other two big companies

$VZ spcx attempting to throw their hat in the ring of an already saturated and insanely competitive market is the dumbest shit ive ever heard. i just signed a year deal with Visible (by Verizon), for $225 for the YEAR. unlimited text, talk and data in the us, canada & mexico. GTFOH spcx gonna be even close to competitive to that. They have the most expensive and uncompetitive internet pricing possible, and i have to but $3-4-500 in hardware as a startup cost. lmao - plus, will fcc approve the purchase anyway?

Even industry insiders and analysts have said an AGGRESSIVE target would be for this to be any sort of player within five years. We just got a discount on VZ and a 50bps raise on YOM.
