Incyte’s Drug Approved In Europe For Treating Yet Another Rare Cancer

The firm has an ‘Underperform’ rating on Nike with a $35 price target.</p><p>Nike appointed Aaron Cain as the new Converse CEO in July 2025 to lead a turnaround. Converse’s second quarter revenue plummeted 30% to $300 million, with sales approaching a 15-year low. Nike’s $300M Charge Announcement Indicates Intent To Exit Converse, Says Analyst

Nike said on Thursday in a filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission that the company’s management has approved a plan to implement “certain organizational changes” which are expected to result in pre-tax charges of $300 million.

<ul class="summary-bullets"><li>According to Black, there will be many unsupervised autonomous platforms in five years and not just Tesla.&nbsp;</li><li>Tesla launched a number of its Model Y vehicles equipped with its full self-driving (FSD) technology as robotaxis in Austin in June 2025, albeit with a safety monitor in the front seat.</li><li>Last month, Jefferies said that it took a series of rides in Austin only to notice that most of Tesla’s robotaxis still have a safety monitor.</li></ul><p>The Future Fund managing partner Gary Black on Friday said that bulls are overestimating the impact of vehicle autonomy on Tesla Inc’s (TSLA) share price, while reiterating his $325 price target on the shares of the EV maker.</p><p>“IMO, there will be many unsupervised autonomous platforms in five years - not just Tesla,” Black <a class="st-link-external" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" href="https://x.com/garyblack00/status/2029953382954262978?s=20">said</a> in a post on X.</p><h2 class="st-heading-2">Expert Take</h2><p>According to Black, Tesla bulls are repeating the mistake from earlier this decade where they considered Tesla as solely capable of making cheap EVs with sufficient range. Likewise, they are now estimating that Tesla alone is going to succeed in autonomous ride-hailing, Black opined while expressing his disagreement.</p><p>“Like EVs, unsupervised autonomous ride hailing will be a very competitive marketplace and four factors — highest efficacy, lowest cost, shortest wait time, and best marketing — will determine who wins,” he said while adding that the regulators are not going to favor Tesla over others in allowing autonomous ride-hailing.</p><h2 class="st-heading-2">Tesla’s Ride-Hailing Efforts</h2><p>Tesla launched a number of its Model Y vehicles equipped with its full self-driving (FSD) technology as robotaxis in Austin in June 2025, albeit with a safety monitor in the front seat to take over as required. In January, Tesla launched a few robotaxis with no safety monitors, marking a key step towards CEO Elon Musk’s ambitions of deploying autonomous vehicles in as much as half of the U.S. by year-end.</p><p>The company has about 500 Model Y vehicles operating as robotaxis across the Bay Area and Austin, Musk said during the company’s fourth-quarter earnings call in late January. However, the company is being cautious while scaling the service, he added.</p><p>Last month, Jefferies <a href="https://stocktwits.com/news-articles/markets/equity/tesla-robotaxis-underperform-rideshare-in-austin-on-key-metrics-despite-discounting-jefferies/cZTGn7rRIRa">said</a> that it took a series of rides in Austin only to notice that most of Tesla’s robotaxis still have a safety monitor. In a note, Jefferies said that Tesla robotaxis were cheaper but had a longer wait time as compared to Uber.</p><p>Tesla under performed despite their rides being offered at a sizable 60% discount compared to UberX, Jefferies said. Fund Manager Says Tesla Bulls Are Overestimating Robotaxi Impact On Stock: ‘Four Factors…Will Determine Who Wins’

Bulls are now estimating that Tesla alone is going to succeed in autonomous ride-hailing, Black opined, while expressing his disagreement. 

<ul class="summary-bullets"><li>Tesla CEO Elon Musk said in January that the company is looking to discontinue the production of the company’s more premium Model X and Model S cars in the coming quarter.&nbsp;</li><li>In 2025, deliveries of the Tesla Model S, X and Cybertruck cumulatively came in at 50,850 units, accounting for just about 3% of the company’s overall 1.63 million deliveries.</li><li>In addition to winding down old models, Tesla is also looking to unveil its new Roadster vehicle in April.</li></ul><p>EV giant Tesla Inc (TSLA) has removed both the Model S and X vehicles from its referral program as the company gears up to end production of both the premium vehicles.</p><p>According to Tesla’s website, Tesla customers can only get benefits if their acquaintances purchase the Model 3, Model Y or Cybertruck vehicles under the referral program. Likewise, new buyers will also get benefits under the referral program only if they purchase the above three vehicles.</p><p>The Tesla refer and earn program is aimed at rewarding new and existing customers for purchasing select Tesla products. Buyers benefit when they buy a qualifying product through a friend’s referral link. Referrers also stand to benefit under the program.</p><h2 class="st-heading-2">Model S, X Discontinuation</h2><p>Tesla CEO Elon Musk said in January that the company is looking to discontinue the production of the company’s more premium Model X and Model S cars in the coming quarter as it seeks to free up factory space for the company’s upcoming humanoid robot Optimus.</p><p>"It is time to bring the S/X programs to an end. Tesla Removes Model S, X From Referral Program As The Premium Vehicles Near Production End

According to Tesla’s website, Tesla customers can only get benefits if their acquaintances purchase the Model 3, Model Y or Cybertruck vehicles under the referral program.

<p>Shares of Costco Wholesale Corporation (COST) fell marginally after hours on Thursday after the company announced second quarter earnings above Wall Street estimates.</p><p>For Q2, the warehouse retailer <a class="st-link-external" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" href="https://investor.costco.com/news/news-details/2026/Costco-Wholesale-Corporation-Reports-Second-Quarter-and-Year-to-Date-Operating-Results-for-Fiscal-2026-and-February-Sales-Results/default.aspx">reported</a> net income of $4.58 per diluted share, compared to $4.02 per diluted share, last year, and above an analyst estimate of $4.55 per share, according to Fiscal AI.</p><p>Net sales for the quarter increased 9.1% to $68.24 billion, while total revenue came in at $69.60 billion, above analysts’ estimate of $69.27 billion.</p><h2 class="st-heading-2">Special Dividend In Sight?</h2><p>Asked about the company’s plans to give out a special dividend, the company said that it has no plans yet.</p><p>“You know, what I'd say on special dividend is while our cash balances are back to the levels that they were pre the last special dividend, I think it's important to remember that, you know, to achieve a similar yield to last time when our stock was at $660, the cash would need to be greater,” a company executive said. “We'll continue to review the question of special dividend with our board, but there are no plans that we could share at this time around a plan for special dividend.”</p><p>The company last announced a $15 special dividend in December 2023.</p><h2 class="st-heading-2">Costco Membership In Q2</h2><p>Membership fees totaled $1.36 billion during the quarter, compared to $1.19 billion in the corresponding period last year, Costco said.</p><p>Paid memberships increased 4.8% to 82.1 million with worldwide membership renewal rate at 89.7%.</p><h2 class="st-heading-2">Digital Impact</h2><p>Same store sales for the quarter rose 6.7% on an adjusted basis, excluding impacts from changes in gasoline prices and foreign exchange, the company said.</p><p>Digitally-enabled comparable sales rose 22.6% in the quarter, with ecommerce site traffic up 32%, the company said. The company unveiled the vehicle in November 2017 and promised a range of up to 500 miles on a single charge. Vehicle deliveries are now slated to commence this year, expanding Tesla’s lineup and offerings for commercial customers.</p><p>As per Tesla’s website, the vehicle will be available in two variants namely standard range and long range. While standard range will offer about 325 miles of range, the long range variant will offer about 500 miles of range. The firm expects Broadcom’s commentary to be interpreted constructively for a broader range of stocks.</p><h2 class="st-heading-2">Broadcom’s Q1 At A Glance</h2><p>Broadcom reported earnings per share (EPS) of $2.05 in the first quarter, compared to an EPS of $1.6 during the same quarter a year ago, while Wall Street expected an EPS of $2.02.</p><p>The company’s revenue in Q1 stood at $19.31 billion, compared to an estimate of $19.14 billion. Broadcom said its AI revenue more than doubled year-on-year to $8.4 billion during the quarter, driven by robust demand for custom AI accelerators and AI networking.</p><p>For Q2, Broadcom expects revenue of $22 billion, above the consensus estimate of $20.4 billion. Morgan Stanley Reportedly Lays Off 2,500 Employees Across Three Major Divisions

The cuts are affecting employees in the bank’s investment banking, wealth management, and investment management divisions, as per the Wall Street Journal report.

(F) rose 2% on Wednesday after Bank of America initiated coverage of the company with a ‘Buy’ rating amidst the company’s pullback on electric vehicles.</p><p>Bank of America reinstated coverage of automaker Ford with a $17 price target. The new price target represents a potential upside of about 34% from the stock’s closing price on Tuesday.</p><h2 class="st-heading-2">Analyst Take</h2><p>Ford is positioned to capitalize on the significant shift in the regulatory backdrop under the current administration, which should enable it to shift focus to its most margin-accretive trucks and SUVs, BofA told investors.</p><p>As the EV segment losses abate, and the company's high-margin commercial business stabilizes, the firm expects Ford to make progress toward its 8% earnings before interest and taxes (EBIT) margin guide from 4.8% in 2026, the analyst added.</p><h2 class="st-heading-2">Ford February Sales</h2><p>Separately, Ford on Wednesday <a class="st-link-external" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" href="https://s205.q4cdn.com/882619693/files/doc_news/2026/Mar/04/Ford-U-S-February-2026-Sales-Release.pdf">reported</a> a 5.5% drop in vehicle sales in the U.S. in February, owing to a steep 71% dive in EV sales, particularly its F-150 Lightning pickup truck.</p><p>The company said that it sold 149,962 vehicles in the U.S. during the month, including 83,067 trucks and 62,582 SUVs. The F-series continued to be the company’s best-selling vehicle, though sales fell 16.2%.
