New tokens are issued to miners as rewards for verifying blocks, though these rewards undergo a halving event approximately every four years to strictly control inflation. This process ensures the ledger maintains immutability, meaning records cannot be changed once they are saved to the global network.  Created by former Google engineer Charlie Lee, the project is supported by the Litecoin Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to ecosystem adoption. Unlike many venture-backed projects, it is maintained by a decentralized community of independent developers and a global network of miners. The project has seen recent institutional adoption, with entities like Lite Strategy and Luxxfolio Holdings adding significant amounts of LTC to their corporate treasuries as of late 2025.

The SUI token is central to the ecosystem, serving as the primary asset for transaction fees and on-chain utility within decentralized exchanges and lending platforms. Users participate in a proof-of-stake mechanism by locking their tokens to support validators and secure the blockchain in exchange for rewards. Additionally, token holders have a role in governance, allowing them to participate in voting on network rules and future protocol upgrades. Wall streets are not buying a $1.69 billion debt company and the charts/stock return is proof. Stay far away from this company, all retail investors have lost while wall street wins

$UPST $PGY  Don't worry about the debt of UPST. the principal doesn't mature until after 2029, and the interest rates are in the 1–2% range, so the interest burden is negligible. I bought PGY stock at $11 and sold half of it in the $19–$20 range. UPST gives me the same vibe as PGY.
