$TER Leading AI software companies are saying that AI development should be slowed down and proceeded more cautiously. These companies can't afford the computing power and are trying to drive down prices. That's all there is to it. A bunch of liars. $TSLA

The dips in AI stocks are still getting bought. Here's $TER finding initial support near its risign 20EMA.

$TER was on Sunday's watchlist as a buy over 451.86, the Oct 2 high. It never got there. Monday and Tuesday both topped out around 448. Today it gapped down to 415.55 and closed at 411.78. Buy it at 447 because it looked close enough and you're down about 8% on a trade that never set up. We waited for the trigger, so it cost us nothing. The level is the entry rule. If price doesn't trade through it, there's no trade.

$TER trade idea, October 9th 455C. Trigger 451.86, target 463.66, stop 444.17. TER gapped and trended higher Friday on positive news. Up about 24% in 30 days on AI test demand, Q3 revenue outlook raised, Q2 revenue up 104% year over year with over 60% tied to AI. Resistance at 463 sits immediately above, then all time highs.

Teradyne shares jumped after a series of product launches and partnerships strengthened its position in AI-driven semiconductor testing and industrial automation. The main catalyst was the Iris 100, a new optical test platform for high-volume microLED and photonics applications, including AR microdisplays and AI data-center interconnects. Teradyne also launched the Magnum E2 memory test system for advanced interfaces such as LPDDR6, DDR6 and GDDR7. Universal Robots introduced a seventh-generation AI-ready cobot platform, while a multiyear partnership with GS Microelectronics will support a new semiconductor testing center focused on AI, automotive, RF and power devices. Teradyne is also expanding into Bengaluru, India, as part of the country’s government-backed semiconductor initiative. The company entered the announcements with strong fundamentals: Q2 2026 revenue rose 104% year over year and non-GAAP EPS reached $2.47 versus the $2.06 consensus. $TER

Big breadth flip on my momentum screener overnight. It flags stocks where MACD, stochastic and the 10-day WMA all agree on direction. Yesterday mid-morning: 202 buy / 632 sell. Today, same time of day: 633 buy / 169 sell. Semis are carrying a lot of it on my dashboards: $TER +6.5%, $TXN and $MCHP ~+4.5%, $SYNA +13.6% (top MidCap gainer), $MXL +13.4% (top SmallCap gainer). Caveat: this screener reacts fast by design, so one strong session can flip hundreds of names, and a lot of these signals are only minutes old. I'd want to see it hold a few days before reading anything into it. Jobs data, rate hopes, or just semis catching a bid?

Weekly Signal Scorecard · Sep 7 - 11, 2026 Post-Labor Day reset hit hard. Institutions came back from summer and the selling started Monday morning. The AI infrastructure names got the worst of it $TER and $STX both down double digits. When Dario, Sam, and Musk are all saying we need to slow down AI progress, the market listens. Chip test equipment and data center storage get repriced fast. The names with no AI capex exposure told a different story: $FROG $ABBV $PM all closed the week green. Setup quality was there. Entry timing on Tue/Wed just walked into the meat grinder.

$TER Teradyne was one of the strongest chip names Friday, up about 7.7% to near 448 and among the top SOX gainers (IBD). The driver is not a rumor. The company announced its Magnum E2 memory tester Tuesday (Sept 29), covering LPDDR6, DDR6, GDDR7 and NAND flash on one platform: up to 64 test sites, 24.5K high-speed I/O pins, and memory plus logic testing on the same hardware (company release). The detail that matters: AI memory is moving to PAM3/PAM4 signaling, and E2's whole pitch is near-DUT architecture, instruments close to the device so signal integrity holds at speed. The memory trade keeps finding new layers. Test equipment is one the feed rarely talks about.

$TER Teradyne announces Magnum E2 memory test sytem Teradyne announced Magnum E2, a next-generation high-speed memory test system for advanced DRAM and flash interfaces, including LPDDR6, DDR6, GDDR7, and NAND flash. Built on Teradyne's proven Near-DUT Test architecture, the foundation of the widely deployed Magnum EPIC platform, Magnum E2 supports both production and engineering configurations, covering qualification through high-volume manufacturing on a common hardware and software platform.

$TER so I have a limit to sell 500 shares at 345.85 against what I bought two days ago to make roughly 5k and got filled on two lots of one share. What I’m asking here is who the fuck buys one share and what’s up with that?
