$RIVN Back to 22.69$ 52 week high sooner than later. Company continually exceeds their own goals. EVs not going away. Buying LEAPS.

$RIVN I am not a blind bull for RIVN stock and I also don't know if they are going to profitable anytime soon. But in terms of progress you have to give credit to Rivian for launching the R2 on time. The reviews overall are very positive and as expected there are some early model issues but nothing major. Despite all the bashing they are making great progress.

$RIVN RJ gets a lot of crap here, but in under 5 years they got a mainstream EV to market after the EDV and R1 Flagships not to mention RAN, Autonomy chip, etc. It took Tesla 7 years for a mainstream and Lucid still doesn’t have one and they went public before RIVN. They got funds from AMZN, VW, UBER and a loan from DOE to offset costs. The return since IPO is poor, but much worse because it was valued at $70 Billion by GS, MS, JPM. Tesla in comparison was only valued at $1 Billion when they went public. It takes a long time to see a return on enormous CAPEX. So quit your bitchin.

$RIVN to all the “generational wealth buy at this level” and “15 is a steal don’t get left behind” OldToad grade peeps imagine if you had loaded your canoes at 14 today. It’s easy in hindsight but the lesson of the day is always have an exit plan if your idea doesn’t work out and ALWAYS have dry powder ready to go if and when a better opportunity presents itself. My thesis was wrong yesterday but I wasn’t “all in.” I took my licks and found another opportunity because I retained optionality. Uncertainty is a given, an observable axiom. The quicker you can admit a defeat in battle the quicker you can get back to winning the war

$RIVN how much realistically can the stick be punished for the last dilution round becuase honestly, up until now, they have delivered or surpassed every single target they have set (and have been set).

$RIVN Apparently those in control on Wall St wanted them to raise guidance AGAIN. Thats why it's down. The bar seems to be higher for Rivian than just about any company I've seen.

Big takeaway: The R2 ramp appears to be materially increasing Rivian’s volume. Q3 was a substantial improvement, but the reaffirmed annual guidance implies Rivian expects an even bigger Q4. Rivian hasn’t yet provided a detailed R2-vs-R1 delivery breakdown.

$RIVN The last time they bumped Quarterly Financials reporting forward was last Quarter, where they reported record results. Now they are doing it again, and on a Thursday Gee, I wonder why :)
