$OURA , the maker of the popular Oura Ring health-tracking wearable, is expected to go public on the Nasdaq during the week of September 28, 2026 under the ticker OURA. Approximately 73% of shares being sold are secondary shares by existing investors rather than new shares issued by Oura. This means much of the IPO proceeds go to current shareholders rather than directly funding company growth. Oura appears to be one of the most compelling consumer-health IPOs of 2026. The investment thesis is less about selling rings and more about owning a recurring, AI-powered health data platform. The company's combination of strong revenue growth, subscription expansion, and AI-driven healthcare positioning explains why it is seeking a valuation near $15-16 billion. Price Range:: $40 - $44 per share Shares Offered:: 50 million IPO SizeUp to ~$2.2 billion Fully Diluted Valuation ~$15 - $15.6 billion

$OURA Oura shelved its IPO, citing market uncertainty. But Barron’s notes most of the roughly $500M Oura would have raised would have gone to taxes on employee RSUs—Restricted Stock Units, shares promised to employees as compensation.

$OURA If the company lists at $42 per share, the midpoint of the price range, that would result in proceeds of about $1.53 billion for the shareholders and $567 million for the company, before fees and expenses. Imagine that

Oura Inc. postponed its IPO on Tuesday, citing market uncertainty, after several prospective investors raised concerns about its valuation and share structure, Bloomberg reported. The company and backers including Forerunner Ventures and Lifeline Ventures had sought to raise up to $2.2 billion through a 50 million-share offering, comprising 13.5 million new shares and 36.5 million shares sold by existing shareholders. At the top of the proposed price range, Oura would have been valued at $14.1 billion based on outstanding shares, or about $15 billion fully diluted. Investors reportedly questioned the large portion of the offering coming from existing shareholders rather than new capital for the company, as well as the weak post-IPO performance of comparable health-device companies. Fitbit fell below its IPO price before being acquired by Alphabet’s Google, while Peloton surged after its 2019 debut but later traded below its IPO price. $OURA $PTON

$OURA what’s the short setup? Strike? I was thinking it’ll shoot up day 1, so by EOD day 1, short it at whatever price it’s at? Any suggestions…
