It also announced that it has&nbsp;<a href="https://stocktwits.com/news-articles/markets/equity/mara-stock-is-rallying-today-what-is-all-the-buzz-about/cZTGrGCRIRW">partnered</a> with Starwood to build large data centers across its existing U.S. plants.&nbsp;<h2 class="st-heading-2">Bitcoin’s Slide Hits MARA’s Balance Sheet</h2>While MARA’s pivot to AI-HPC capabilities was announced in August last year, most of its revenue still comes from Bitcoin mining operations. “Every $10,000 change in the price of Bitcoin results in approximately a $538 million change in the value of our Bitcoin holdings,” said CFO Salman Khan.MARA missed Wall Street’s expectations on both revenue and earnings, according to Koyfin data. It said that the decrease was primarily driven by a 14% decrease in the average price of bitcoin mined over the quarter.It said its net loss was $1.7 billion, or $4.52 per diluted share, in Q4 2025 compared to net income of $528.3 million, or $1.24 per diluted share, in Q4 2024.
