$IVR This is at a crossroads of the 10y… a pullback on that yield and this will recover to 7.25-7.5 range this year with a possible continuation of current dividend (cut is more likely) or 10y blows to 5.5% yield and this will be 5.25-5.5 and divvy between .05-.1 a month.
Risky being in this still, like I said before the things that kept the 10y in check last time it flirted with 5% are no longer in place.

$IVR my calculations pin BV close to 7 to 7.1. A near 10% drop in BV value since Aug 31...
$7.74 starting BV
+ ~$0.00 to $0.25 rate-hedge benefit
− ~$0.65 to $0.90 mortgage-basis/asset mark
≈ $7.0–$7.2 BV
The hedge is what is paying the dividend the losses are what’s gonna lower future dividends.
Raise in yields is killing this and most BV losses are permanent.
Why I remain bearish and the discount to BV remains warranted.

$IVR I’m more spilt on yields now than just totally bearish for now. As this is trading at a decent discount from BV that’s probably means good things here. Still totally risky and tech is gonna and continue to outperform here. Really some major long term risks with yields.
But always with this fund sell the premium and buy a discount has been the winning trade here. Oh and never get lost in the dividend, consider it a loss in share price.
