BYD will eventually need three vehicle assembly plants and a battery factory in Europe to support its long-term growth plans and comply with EU regulations, according to the Chinese automaker’s special adviser for Europe, Alfredo Altavilla. The company has begun production at its first European plant in Hungary and expects to decide on a second manufacturing site by the end of 2026. Rather than building a new facility from scratch, BYD is seeking to acquire and refurbish an existing plant, with Spain and France among its preferred locations. Altavilla said BYD’s long-term European footprint will need three assembly facilities and one battery plant to achieve the sales volumes the company is targeting while meeting local regulatory requirements. He emphasized that the expansion will take place gradually rather than all at once. The manufacturing push comes as BYD expands its presence in the European electric-vehicle market and seeks to increase local production. $BYDDY

$BYDDY HONK HONK! As of October 2026, there is a massive valuation gap between the two largest electric vehicle makers in the world: Tesla (TSLA) commands a trailing P/E ratio of roughly 357, whereas BYD (BYDDF / BYDDY) trades at a significantly lower P/E ratio of around 21. Let that sink in!

$BYDDY If BYD founder Wang Chuanfu is made an envoy to meet Trump with Xi like they are saying, we will have BYD cars here in the US by the end of next year. Wang will show up with a brown paper bag full of cash or receipts for Trump Coin or whatever BS crypto he's hawking these days and that's all it will take. Even if BYD cars don't make it here, expect a nice move up just based on the optics, if Wang does join Xi on the trip.

$BYDDY $TSLA because trump knows china’s EV makers could never compete without slave labor and CCP government subsidies… china would never do it for fear of being exposed… BYD is a fraudulent operation, suspected of cooking the books and is massively in debt, and that’s all with the subsidies and slave labor…all the other pure 🇨🇳 EV makers are still struggling to make a profit
