About WY

Weyerhaeuser Co. engages in the manufacture, distribution, and sale of forest products. It operates through the following segments: Timberlands, Real Estate, Energy, and Natural Resources (Real Estate and ENR), and Wood Products. The Timberlands segment manages private commercial forestland worldwide and engages in growing and harvesting trees for lumber, building, pulp, paper, and other wood products. The Real Estate and ENR segment delivers premiums to timber value by identifying and monetizing higher and better use of lands and capturing the full value of surface and subsurface assets. The Wood Products segment delivers lumber, structural panels, engineered wood products and complementary building products for residential, multi-family, industrial, and light commercial applications. The company was founded by Frederick T. Weyerhaeuser on January 18, 1900 and is headquartered in Seattle, WA.

I may have bought one of the ugliest charts in the market today. 😂 $WY at $18.50. So ugly… I bought it. Method to the madness: price is sitting right on the lower boundary of a 3-year descending channel, basically testing the trough near the $18.45 low. Weekly RSI is deeply oversold, Stochastics are buried near the floor, and sentiment looks completely washed out. That doesn’t mean the downtrend magically disappears—but this is exactly where the risk/reward finally starts getting interesting. My thesis: defined downside below the recent low, with mean-reversion targets around $20 → $22.50 → $24–25 if buyers show up. Sometimes the prettiest trades start with the ugliest charts. $WY #Weyerhaeuser #Oversold #MeanReversion #Timber #REIT $SPY

$WY I made another big buy today; been waiting for signs of bottoming/basing and they are here/near. This will recover and in the meantime I get to take advantage of extreme value.

$WY options flow lesson: volume and open interest answer different questions. Volume counts contracts traded during the session. Open interest is the standing balance from the prior settle. The two should not be treated as interchangeable. The alert snapshot shows $942K in the Apr 16 $18 calls. Volume was 5026.0x standing open interest at capture. Intraday volume does not establish whether a position was opened or held; the next settled open interest is the check.

$WY Stock is WAY oversold. Picked up some October (2027) 20 calls this week. Should be nicely in the money well before then

$WY down nearly 50% from the 2022 high and just hit the bottom of a 4-year channel. Record weekly volume RSI near oversold, curling Williams % Range, Curling First green candle in weeks 📈🧐

$WY Still in it. This could turn into a really good trade and longer term hold at these levels.

$WY I have something for you great mined people to look into for me or atleast opine your thoughts. Okay...So the Department of the Interior owns countless countless countless acres of land in the western part of the united states, and the entire country. It is equivalent of many states. Big states. On this land there are a lot of ongoing things, revenue streams, and a lot of immense untapped value. Among theese are mining rights, oil and natural gas rights, farming rights, repairian water rights, cattle grazing rights, timber rights, real estate development sales infrastructure projects like roads highways. More. The value of the untapped resources is immense. However, the united states claims that they only generate two billion dollars a year, or something like this. Off of all of this land. I think it is a complete scam and the money must be going to china or some other country or something. Obviously not ours. I appreciate any responses. In my opinion the oil and gas rights would top 2 billion easily, Lumber prices are astronomical as well as rare earth and metals. SOMETHING IS WRONG HERE. I have someone from the Inspector Generals office looking into this for me. I presume they work in correlation with the GAO.

$WY entered calls today on this for Jan. 28’ exp. Strike price $20. 27’ will be a laggard for lumber, but I anticipate movement mid year. Also, not to mention cheap premium. BE=$22.37

$WY Classic buy low sell high. This is what you call "range bound". Priced gaped up this morning from yesterday's low, as soon as it couldn't break that low and started turning, I entered options call at $23.
