$UVIX $UVXY I had a conversation around $VIX 14 and the guy there told me I was stupid that because the vix was low that it was gonna at some point spike…he equated a low vix didn’t mean a like hood of a spike which in a sense he was right but many just for some reason don’t get that when its bottom…thats when you get spikes… He blocked me a while ago and furthered his echo chamber And I’m pretty sure even with today he doesn’t even understand what I was trying to tell him back then… Don’t be ignorant, instead try and digest all different ideas otherwise you miss moves like this $SPY $QQQ if they really are loss cause block them and if they are bad enough inverse them

$UVIX be very. VERY, careful if following. This has a mathematical downside bias due to the x 2 weighting and nature of vix but could run much further. This could potentially pop to $50-60 next week though so I’m only starting with 15 shares short. Eventually it will drop though. Every spike on this does and the same proportionate move down will always be faster than it moving up

$UVIX After selling on Friday, yes, I just took a smaller position a moment ago. Usually it will fade if oil and the ten year can stay down today. I also added more $SOXS, just below my ave. We will see.

$UVIX got another scalp bear wide for a few %. I’ve said this many times, but due to how $VIX and x2 leverage actually function this will always have mathematical downside bias long term. Easiest way to think of it is like this Ticker A is base ticker and ticker B2 is the x2 mover. For ease of example pretend both are $10 A goes up 20%, so it’s at $12 and B2 is at $14 due to going 40%. Both tickers then go down 20% next day. A then goes 9.60 (12 * .8) but B drops down to 8.4 when it loses 40% (14 * .6) Basically the exact same movement that led ticker A with only a 4% drop of initial value cost the leveraged ticker 16%. This will ALWAYS drops harder than it rises on proportionate move
