$TMO might be one of the SLEEPIEST AI plays on Wall Street. Everyone is chasing the companies BUILDING AI data centers. But somebody has to monetize all that compute. Thermo Fisher is partnered with BOTH $NVDA and OpenAI to push AI into drug discovery, clinical trials, scientific instrumentation and fully automated laboratories. Think about the chain: AI DATA CENTERS → massive compute → AI drug discovery → automated labs → genomics/proteomics → TMO instruments, software, consumables and services. And this isn’t theoretical. 🔥 NVIDIA + Thermo Fisher strategic AI partnership 🔥 OpenAI + Thermo Fisher collaboration 🔥 AI-powered laboratory automation 🔥 AI-driven drug discovery 🔥 AI-enabled mass spectrometry & multiomics 🔥 $45B+ annual revenue powerhouse NVDA $AMD $VRT $DELL build the AI horsepower. TMO helps turn that horsepower into actual scientific breakthroughs and new drugs. The AI trade is expanding WAY beyond chips. Wall Street may eventually figure out that TMO is sitting right in the middle of the AI + healthcare + biotech convergence.

AI biotech’s biggest developments aren’t just better models anymore. The real shift is happening down the stack: → Owkin + Servier: AI + proprietary multimodal patient data → Thermo Fisher + NVIDIA: AI-connected autonomous labs → Benchling/TetraScience: connecting instruments, data & agents → BioNeMo: becoming scientific AI middleware → Self-driving labs: moving from demos toward real workflows Meanwhile, the ultimate proof is still missing at scale: repeatable clinical success from AI-discovered drugs. The bottleneck has moved from compute → models → experimental validation. That’s why the picks-and-shovels may matter most: $TMO, $DHR, $RGEN, Tecan, Sartorius + scientific data infrastructure. Models are becoming abundant. Experimental truth is still scarce.

What's going on with $TMO? Pretty flat over the last five days Today saw some interesting options action A big Oct 16 $655 put sweep on the ask, about 1,025 contracts and $796k premium just popped up Looks like someone is hedging or betting on a drop If you’re long, keep those risk controls tight On the flip side, there were three separate sweeps in Oct 16 $750 calls Around 1,745 contracts in total That’s $205k in premium and 10% OTM Definitely some upside interest there, so it's not all bearish Overall, the setup is put-skewed but still two-sided No clear edge yet

$TMO Our framework reflects a bullish read on Thermo Fisher Scientific, with 7 of 9 signal cells flashing positive at an average conviction score of 3.0 out of 5. As seen in the chart attached, this is our read as of 17 Sep 2026—it is a dated snapshot, not a live call. Fundamental tailwinds drive the core thesis: top-line expansion accelerated to 10.5% in the second quarter, while full-year 2026 revenue guidance was raised to $48.1 billion, underpinned by an unmatched life sciences moat. Technically, the equity maintains its broader upward trajectory by trading above both its 50-day and 200-day moving averages, even as short-term momentum shows neutral consolidation. We would turn bearish if revenue execution drops back below expectations or if price breaks below the 200-day moving average. (Disclosure: we're and this is our own research.)
