When buying the shares, I thought that more than 10 days had passed since the Chapter 11 filing without any delisting notice being filed, and despite the September 4 filing, a massive surge happened; therefore, there might have been some kind of negotiated reorganization or a similar case that would make the stock eligible to remain on Nasdaq for more time. I didn't expect a delisting filing today, especially one stating no intention to appeal. Nevertheless, there are likely still many, perhaps a few million, open short positions. If shorts don't cover before Sep 18, they may not find enough sellers to buy from once it is delisted from Nasdaq, given the potential illiquidity afterward. Every one of those related-party transactions and management decisions deserves serious scrutiny. I hope the bankruptcy process establishes clearly who is responsible and holds anyone who breached their duties accountable.
