About SLDP

Solid Power, Inc. engages in solid-state battery technology and manufacturing processes. The firm develops sulfide-based solid-electrolyte material technology that replaces the liquid or gel electrolyte used in traditional lithium-ion battery cells. It focuses on the development and commercialization of all-solid-state battery cells and solid-electrolyte materials, primarily for the battery-powered electric vehicle market. The company was founded on August 3, 2011 and is headquartered in Louisville, CO.

$SLDP Considering that 1,200 GWh of battery capacity is required globally and Solid Power plans to produce 20,000 tons of electrolyte—equivalent to 40 GWh—it is clear that the company still has significant room for growth. Once continuous production begins at the end of the year, I believe the initial output of 500 tons will very quickly scale up significantly. I am convinced that the share price will rapidly hit the $10 mark once continuous production is underway—especially given that gasoline prices remain high (and will likely rise further) and that new technologies are clamoring for solid-state batteries. But for now, we are waiting for the new agreements with BMW and Samsung. Regarding Samsung, it is worth noting that the electrolyte is apparently being used on their existing machinery. Incidentally, another patent concerning the electrolyte has also been published. In any case, things remain exciting.

$SLDP won’t see many profit takers here. We know what we hold. Most of us are in for the long-haul at this point. Very promising technology and business model. LFG

$SLDP ……It's a continuous flow process that will get us to 75 metric tons by the end of this year. Then the third phase is going to be with a partner in Korea. We're in advanced negotiation stage with a large conglomerate there to do a 500 metric ton plant, to be online in 2028. Ultimately, we'll increment up from that 500 metric ton by 2,000 metric ton increments, all within the same site, notably in Korea. We're on the cusp of real revenues as we go through the back half of this decade and into early next. Cost. This is a new slide for us here.….……We're leveraging external funding, the DOE I mentioned, but also the partnership in Korea will be a shared CapEx partnership. We're continuing to preserve our flexibility, taking advantage of market conditions. With that, I will open it up to any questions that you have.……

$SLDP Interesting how people always make mistake after mistake....years ago QS went up to 120-130 dollar with just a hype and nothing else, then it crashed...afterwards people were suddenly negative on alll battery stocks....and now people make the same mistake by undervaluing Solid Power due to being overly skeptical....well I will hold and buy while this stock is ridiculously cheap.

$SLDP will be very interesting to watch in the coming months. Timeline of the catalysts: 9/30/26: Samsung is actually making cells using Solid Power electrolyte under the joint evaluation with BMW, while $SLDPsays electrolyte performance improved during that work. The initial agreement runs through Sep. 30, and management has indicated it expects the relationships to continue evolving afterward. 3Q/4Q 2026: SK On is potentially more important for proving manufacturability. $SLDP completed installation of its pilot cell line at SK On, SK On is obligated to purchase at least eight metric tons of electrolyte thru 2030 under the existing agreement, and the companies are now negotiating a new agreement. By YE 2026: $SLDP explicitly says it expects to announce a joint venture by year-end 2026 for commercial-scale electrolyte production in Korea. If this happens , it would be one of the strongest pieces of evidence yet that the technology has a path toward commercialization.

$SLDP …….We are seeing demo cars now using all-solid-state batteries. Some are semi-solid, but all-solid-state batteries in the case of BMW's i7 last year with us. You'll see more demo cars coming out in the coming quarters and years, and that will give way to small fleet and then larger fleets in the early 2030s, is our current belief. Also, applications into aviation and defense with drones. We also are getting some keen interest in off-highway vehicles, mining, and oil and gas……….

$SLDP I just love this company’s business model. I truly believe this one will be a winner.

$SLDP It would be nice if management would step up and give proof that someone is interested in buying their product. I will feel much better after they demonstrate that they can close a profitable deal. The longer we go without a firm recommitment from BMW or a JVA from another partner the less comfortable I feel about our prospects. Management silence has made this a really tough year for SLDP investors.

$SLDP Zacks Equity Research — September 10, 2026 Solid Power, Inc. has been upgraded to a Zacks Rank #2 (Buy). This upgrade reflects an improving earnings outlook, which is one of the strongest drivers of short‑term stock price movement. The Zacks rating system is based entirely on changes in earnings estimates. It tracks EPS forecasts for the current and following year from analysts covering the stock. When these estimates rise, the model typically assigns a higher rank, signaling potential upward price pressure. Changes in future earnings expectations are strongly correlated with near‑term stock price movement. Institutional investors rely heavily on earnings estimates to determine fair value. When estimates rise, their models show higher fair value, and institutional buying often follows pushing the stock higher. For Solid Power, rising earnings estimates indicate improving business fundamentals. The rating upgrade suggests optimism about the company’s near‑term prospects.

$SLDP November 3 2026 After hours. Not gonna lie I’m optimistic, could be a real pivot to growth and revenue with a positive announcement. Duh I know. Stating the obvious but a BMW or Samsung especially Samsung and its breadth of market for SSB.

$SLDP Expecting plans for the 500MT to be sometime in Q4.... At least by end of year... That's a yearly goal "finalize partnership for 500MT plant" and also "main line the 75MT continuous flow line" I assume maybe validation of the 75MT continuous flow line is a prerequisite for signing the deal with the 500MT partner....

$SLDP But the Chinese are behind schedule, starting mass production after 2030, while the South Korean Samsung and SK On using Solid Power electrolyte are far ahead and will start mass production much earlier (2027, 2028).

$SLDP looks like the recent bullish channel is now broken and SLDP is resuming its downward slide.

$SLDP Everyone gonna wish they put everything they owned into this stock.. We can no longer rely on lithium batteries. If let’s say only state of Texas residents, all residents decided to switch to battery vehicles, there’s not enough copper, lithium, cobalt, zinc etc in this whole earth to cover that. The answer is Solid state batteries, #QS technology. They’re both gonna be very very needed soon.

$SLDP in the bmw article the physical pack architecture receiving accolades here is the exact same "open-chassis" foundation into which BMW plans to drop Solid Power’s sulfide-based cells as solid-state technology matures for demonstration fleets.
