$SANA — Big day for Sana with new type 1 diabetes cell-therapy research being presented today. The entire thesis here is fascinating: creating replacement insulin-producing cells that can potentially evade the immune system, with the long-term goal of avoiding chronic immunosuppression. Still early and high risk, but successful immune-evasive cell replacement would be a huge development for the field.

$SANA I initiated a stake in $IPSC yesterday, and will be DCA for the next month into it. Their 29 day manufacturing and cold storage for transport has piqued my interest enough to invest. I am also very concerned right now they beat Sana to the punch of the first person cured, BUT fact is they carry more risk with it even working in human. My T1D Investments according to size right now: 1)$SANA - by far the largest, and plan to add more as data progresses. 2)$ELDN - Decent chunk. Tego is the ultimate back up, and I see it as a very important gap filler between HIP islets to kidneys, to livers, to lungs, to hearts, and anything else that is going to take time to develop over the next 2-3 decades. Current immunosuppression, Tacrolimus, is toxic and the side effects suck. God forbid with my very progressed CKD, I also may need tego for a kidney someday. I pray not though. 3)$IPSC Micro 1-2% of $ at most. F!!! I maybe picked the wrong horse play as a 50 yr T1D science man. GLA

$SANA so, the only news out of today’s conference call is that the first diabetes patient may be dosed in the new year because of the holidays at the end of 2026. Steve expects the IND to clear this year, still.

$SANA — Sana is presenting new type 1 diabetes work today at EASD around engineered donor insulin-producing cells designed to function without chronic immunosuppression.

$SANA thanks for all the input, CTA and Brian, etc. it also seems to be driven by economics. If a high percentage of cells are destroyed right away after being put in the liver, that means Sana would have to increase ots dose to account for that. Then, Sana would be treating a far less # of patients which is a huge problem since it will be capacity constrained for years, anyway, as it scales up.

$SANA $IPSC Sana delivering intramuscularly. Century putting cells into liver. Any thoughts on that distinction Brian?

$SANA is a classic high-risk, high-reward biotech setup. The upside rests mainly on SC451 for Type 1 diabetes and SG293 for B-cell cancers/autoimmune disease. SC451 is backed by encouraging HIP-platform data, while SG293 could validate Sana’s in-vivo CAR-T approach. The problem is funding. Cash is only ~$57M, H1 R&D was ~$59M, and management has warned current resources won’t cover planned operations for the next 12 months. Dilution is already happening: shares outstanding rose ~12% in H1, and SANA still has ATM capacity left. My view: around $3 can be interesting for a small speculative position, with room to add near $2. If clinical news drives a big spike, I’d consider taking partial profits because more equity issuance remains a real risk.

$SANA Considering the markets muted/mostly flat reaction, I'm assuming that whatever was presented at Fridays EASD presentation was "as expected" Has anyone found any details?

$SANA here's the charge against Harr: enormous resources consumed, repeated strategic resets, and still too little clinical validation for the amount of capital committed...Harr's decisions about scope, spending and prioritization are going to look considerably harder to defend if this keeps up.

$SANA Milan headline: Can HIP-engineered pancreatic cells survive and function inside a human without immunosuppression? So far: very encouraging evidence that they can.

$SANA to summarize Malone's screenshots, etc.: Sana Bio. is a high risk, high upside biotech whose low current expectations could be transformed by successful clinical validation of its immune-evasive diabetes and in-vivo CAR-T technologies? am I close? without access to the PDF, that's all I can come up with.

$SANA so did every pharmaceutical crash in unison just because that Lp(a) reduction drug didn’t produce meaningful cardiovascular results?
