If not acquired pre FDA approval, they get acquired shortly afterwords.  Just a matter of time folks.  As long as SOL-R interim safety is clean, the clock starts to tick and ticks louder when the NDA is accepted.  At that point it becomes a negotiation.  From now until then, it is all noise. Ocular Therapeutix announced the completion of its pre-new drug application, or NDA, meeting with the FDA for its investigational product candidate Axpaxli for the treatment of wet age-related macular degeneration. Based on the pre-NDA meeting, the company's expectations for the Axpaxli NDA package remain consistent with prior FDA communications, including the May Type C meeting. Ocular remains on track to submit the NDA in the fourth quarter of 2026.

**Most likely buyer.** AXPAXLI’s potential long-duration dosing and Ocular’s FDA alignment make OCUL strategically attractive.

2. Regeneron

**Possibly the best strategic fit.** It already owns Eylea/Eylea HD, so AXPAXLI could strengthen its retinal franchise and defend against competitors.

3. Roche/Genentech

Another strong possibility due to its ophthalmology business and interest in longer-lasting retinal treatments.

**My estimated takeover range: $20–35/share**, with **$35–45+** possible if AXPAXLI data are exceptionally strong and multiple buyers compete.
