$NUE A tight channel. Will likely bust up hard and not look back when it does. 300+ next year.

$NUE I trimmed some shares when we topped out in the 270s. That's after an 80% run from end of 2025. I kept a few and added on the dip around $235. This looks like it's primed for another run up to ATH.

$NUE $STLD $CLF — Fresh guidance after the close: Nucor now expects Q3 EPS of $5.55–$5.65, below current Street estimates around $6.00+. Shares fell roughly 4% after hours despite the forecast still representing substantial YoY earnings growth. Nucor says steel-mill earnings should improve sequentially on higher selling prices and stable volumes, while raw-materials earnings are expected to decline. Steel Dynamics also issued Q3 guidance of $5.34–$5.38 EPS, versus $3.69 last quarter and $2.74 a year ago. $STLD says steel profitability should rise significantly on margin expansion, record shipments, higher realized pricing and lower scrap costs, with customer orders remaining strong and inventories low. Shares nevertheless dropped roughly 4% after hours as investors digested the outlook. Interesting sector read-through: the immediate stock reaction is negative, but both companies are still describing strong underlying steel demand/pricing conditions. $NUE $STLD $CLF

$NUE (Nucor) projects Q3 earnings of $5.55-$5.65 per diluted share, sharply higher than the prior quarter's $4.84, driven by rising steel prices and a $61 million pre-tax benefit from its investment in fusion-energy firm Helion.

$NUE NUE – The guidance missed. Read what missed. 🏗️ Nucor guided Q3 EPS to 5.55–5.55–5.65. Consensus: 5.99.Itclosed 5.99.Itclosed248.38, −6.32%, on 3.2x volume, dragging Steel Dynamics (−4.11%) and Commercial Metals (−3.87%) too. Fine print: two items that don't repeat – a130millionraw−materialrefundanda 130millionraw−materialrefundanda61 million Helion valuation gain. Mills and steel products improve on price. Raw materials don't. Demand was never the issue. The Street sold a refund, not a steelmaker. Bounce, or one more leg down?

$NUE History suggests these are cyclical stocks. Company's recent update - is expecting lower revenue in the raw materials segment. Charts indicate triple top at 270$ price rejection there and now heading lower from uptrend channel around 255$. May be this is the turning point to sell?

Nucor projected third-quarter 2026 diluted earnings of $5.55-$5.65 per share for the quarter ending Oct. 3, below Wall Street’s $5.99 consensus estimate. Although the forecast would represent a sharp increase from $2.63 per share in Q3 2025, the miss triggered a pullback from the stock’s intraday high of $268.08. Investor sentiment was also pressured by the absence of two one-time benefits that boosted Q2 results: a $61 million non-cash gain from the higher valuation of Nucor’s investment in fusion-energy company Helion, and roughly $130 million in prior-period raw-material acquisition refunds that reduced costs. Neither benefit is expected to recur in Q3. The raw materials segment is also expected to post lower earnings due to weaker pricing and shipments, partly offsetting gains in steel mills and steel products. The outlook highlighted continued concerns over margin sustainability amid elevated raw-material costs and a cyclical steel market. $NUE

$NUE — +9.8%. "Steel. Not a stock I'd ever have looked at on my own. That's kind of the point."
