Zcash is a decentralized and open-source cryptocurrency that offers privacy and selective transparency of transactions. Zcash payments are published on a public blockchain, but the sender, recipient, and amount of a transaction remain private.  Zcash is based on peer-reviewed cryptographic research, and built by a security-specialized engineering team on an open source platform based on Bitcoin Core's battle-tested codebase. Our improvement over Bitcoin is the addition of privacy. Zcash uses advanced cryptographic techniques, namely zero-knowledge proofs, to guarantee the validity of transactions without revealing additional information about them.  How Zcash works  Zcash encrypts the contents of shielded transactions. Since the payment information is encrypted, the protocol uses a novel cryptographic method to verify their validity.  Zcash uses a zero-knowledge proof construction called a zk-SNARK, developed by our team of experienced cryptographers based on recent breakthroughs in cryptography. These constructions allow the network to maintain a secure ledger of balances without disclosing the parties or amounts involved. Instead of publicly demonstrating spend-authority and transaction values, the transaction metadata is encrypted and zk-SNARKs are used to prove that nobody is cheating or stealing.  Zcash also enables users to send public payments which work similarly to Bitcoin. With the support for both shielded and transparent addresses, users can choose to send Zcash privately or publicly. Zcash payments sent from a shielded address to a transparent address reveal the received balance, while payments from a transparent address to a shielded address protect the receiving value. Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan is set to meet President Donald Trump at the White House on Thursday, six years after their last meeting there, and plans to put forward $50 billion purchase offers for&nbsp;U.S. jets and liquefied natural gas, according to a Bloomberg report.Turkey could purchase as many as 250 commercial aircraft, along with additional F-16 fighters from Boeing and Lockheed Martin, according to unnamed Turkish officials who&nbsp;<a class="st-link-external" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" href="https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2025-09-25/turkey-s-erdogan-visits-trump-white-house-with-50-billion-shopping-list">spoke with Bloomberg</a>.On Wednesday, Turkey announced long-term agreements with Mercuria Energy Group and Woodside Energy Group to purchase approximately 76 billion cubic meters of LNG, primarily from U.S. plants.The meeting is an attempt by Erdogan to repair relations with Washington; Turkey and the U.S. have spat in recent years over the former's purchase of Russian arms and involvement in the conflict in Syria, and retaliatory tariffs.After Trump pledged to withdraw from Syria, Turkey attacked U.S.-backed Kurdish forces, prompting Washington to sanction several Turkish ministers. Investing.com -- U.S. stock futures rose Monday, with risk sentiment boosted by the U.S.-EU trade agreement, at the start of a pivotal week that includes central bank meetings, key economic data as well as important earnings.

NextDecade (NEXT) stock saw a surge in retail chatter on Tuesday after TD Cowen upgraded the stock to ‘Buy’ from ‘Hold.’According to TheFly, the brokerage also raised the price target for the stock to $11 from $9, implying an upside of 33% compared with Monday’s closing price.The brokerage reportedly said that it has "line-of-sight" to Rio Grande LNG, sanctioning not only the fourth liquefaction train but also Train 5. TD Cowen also noted that NextDecade should provide additional financial transparency about the project after the final investment decision, bolstering investor confidence.The analysts at TD Cowen see potential for NextDecade to continue contracting volumes for additional trains, as the sale and purchase agreement (SPA) market for liquefied natural gas remains active, with the industry potentially moving beyond near-term weakness.Top LNG producer Shell has predicted that global LNG demand will rise by about 60% by 2040 from current levels, driven by growing demand in Asian economies, efforts to reduce emissions, as well as the expansion of artificial intelligence data centers. The outlook bodes well for companies like NextDecade, which signs long-term deals with customers.Earlier this month, the company roped in engineering firm Bechtel to build the two additional liquefaction trains at its Rio Grande LNG facility, which will boost the export project’s capacity by 9 million tonnes per annum (MTPA).
