$MP when I see the 5-day EMA (green line) cross below any moving average, that's a sign of negative momentum. If the 5-day crosses below all the moving averages, that is no place to start a position, IMO.

$MP $USAR In a way, the bond market is putting significant pressure on these stocks. However, there is also a positive aspect: there is still no meaningful U.S.–China agreement on rare earths, while the U.S. is clearly shifting toward increasing domestic production and securing its own rare-earth supply chain. This could be a significant long-term tailwind for companies like MP and USAR. Any agreement with Iran and the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz would likely provide significant support to the bond market and by default rare earth company.

$MP i've always been intrigued in the predictability of price action based on technicals/charting. But, I've never been a big believer in "filling gaps". But you have to admit looking at this chart that we bounced exactly off of the top of the wick of that green candle August 26 and beautifully filled that gap. Maybe that means we can go back up where we should be.

$MP I think MP Materials is more likely to go down on Monday. Bessent is meeting with the Chinese today to try to reach some kind of agreement, and any easing of tensions over rare earths would probably be more negative than positive for MP in the short term. That said, I’m long-term on MP, so I’m not too worried about short-term moves.

$MP not happy with our price action today, however, the PR on the GM magnets is a pretty big deal. The qualification on those magnets has been taking a long time so hopefully this means sales not just "delivery". 

$MP NO one connecting dots between robotics, its implication for demand for actuators and underlying magnets that enable which will render demand from other areas mute as it will be dwarfed. MP mgt made that very clear recently

$MP $CRML $USAR If you look at REE stocks yesterday - take USAR as an example… faced with a super volatile down day in the broader market - it moved .31 on volume of just over 7M which is very low by this stocks standards. The REEs are a “coiled spring” and the shorts are going to help these stocks rip higher.
