$LUCK CNBC report on Bank of America’s consumer spending data! 📈 With jet fuel prices up over 100% Y/Y and airfares surging, consumers are officially cutting back on pricey long-distance travel and reallocating those discretionary dollars straight into local, drive-to experiences and hobbies (+7.9% Y/Y in August per BofA)! Instead of flying, families and young professionals are pivoting to high-end regional leisure like bowling, gaming arcades, and elevated F&B. BofA noted overall recreation spending is outperforming broader retail—consumers are happily paying for local fun despite "funflation" 📰 CNBC Coverage on BofA Data: https://www.cnBC.com/2026/09/28/us-consumer-funflation-hobby-spending-bank-of-america.html

S&P Global Ratings downgraded Lucky Strike Entertainment to B- from B, citing elevated leverage and weaker profitability, while also cutting its senior secured debt rating to B-. The outlook remains stable. Adjusted leverage rose to 8.6x at the end of fiscal 2026, while S&P's adjusted EBITDA margin fell 300 basis points year over year to 31.7%, pressured by weaker comparable sales growth and higher operating costs. Comparable sales declined 2.5% during the quarter, with the company attributing some of the weakness to consumers' focus on the FIFA World Cup. S&P expects leverage to gradually improve to about 8.3x in fiscal 2027 and 8.0x in fiscal 2028, supported by additional earnings from the water parks acquired in fiscal 2026. Free cash flow is also expected to recover, with operating free cash flow projected at roughly $25 million in fiscal 2027, compared with a $19 million deficit in 2026. $LUCK
