The community is very active in organising fundraising activities for deserving causes.  The developers of Dogecoin haven’t made any major changes to the coin since 2015. Still, retail investors and analysts have mixed views on the stock.Alibaba's U.S.-shares rose&nbsp;about 3% in premarket trading on Tuesday, after the company's Hong Kong shares (9988.HK) rose 3.6% to hit a nearly four-year high.On Monday, Barclays raised its price target on BABA shares to $190 from $145, signaling a&nbsp;35% upside, and maintained its overweight rating.The investment research firm warned that weakness in its instant commerce segment might peak in the September quarter, while the cloud unit growth is expected to accelerate in the coming quarters.Cloud revenue grew 26% in the last quarter, easily beating the 18.4% consensus estimate, helping offset the soft performance in the core e-commerce business. Cloud and AI optimism lifted Alibaba’s Hong Kong shares to a nearly four-year high on Tuesday.

Chinese&nbsp;e-tailer Temu has cut product prices and ramped up advertising in the United States to offset business disruptions in recent months from tariffs and the rollback of a duty exemption for low-value imports, according to a Bloomberg report published on Monday.For years, Temu grew its business by selling ultra-cheap goods from China, but that model faltered after the U.S. implemented steep tariffs and discontinued the de minimis rule, which allowed duty-free entry of items valued at $800 or below. China's top economic planner has warned that it would prevent excess competition and wasteful spending in its artificial intelligence sector, even as the country's tech giants roll out new AI models at a rapid clip to catch up with their Western counterparts."We will resolutely avoid disorderly competition or a 'follow-the-crowd' approach," Zhang Kailin, an official with the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC), said in a media briefing on Friday, according to a Bloomberg&nbsp;<a target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" href="https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2025-08-29/china-warns-against-disorderly-competition-in-booming-ai-race">report</a>.The goal is to leverage China's distinctive strengths to foster growth without duplicating efforts, according to Zhang. The NDRC is responsible for formulating and coordinating the country's economic and social development strategies, policies, and reforms.The official's remarks echo those of Chinese President Xi Jinping, who cautioned against excessive investment in AI by local governments last month. Observers noted those comments as evidence of Chinese policymakers' desire to avoid a repeat of the overcapacity seen in other emerging industries, such as electric vehicles, which has contributed to deflationary pressures.Chinese companies, led by Alibaba, Baidu, ByteDance, and DeepSeek, have significantly expanded their AI services this year. North Korean leader Kim Jong Un will join Russian President Vladimir Putin and Chinese President Xi Jinping in a Beijing parade on Sept. 3, marking a show of close ties and diplomacy in&nbsp;Eurasia at&nbsp;a time of crucial negotiations led by the U.S. to set global trade tariffs and end the Ukraine war.Kim's guest appearance at the parade, meant to commemorate the 80th anniversary of the end of World War II, was confirmed by North Korea's official Korean Central News Agency and China's state-run Xinhua News Agency on Thursday.The event is a major one on the political calendar for Chinese President Xi, who will be at the center of much of the activity in Tiananmen Square, according to&nbsp;<a target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" href="https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2025-08-28/north-korea-s-kim-jong-un-will-attend-china-s-military-parade">Bloomberg</a>."China and the DPRK are friendly neighbors, connected by mountains," Assistant Foreign Minister Hong Lei said at a briefing Thursday, referring to North Korea by its official name, according to a Bloomberg report.&nbsp;China has long served as North Korea's primary supporter, offering crucial economic assistance that has sustained the regime. Washington and its allies have often pressed Beijing to leverage that influence to rein in Kim's nuclear program.This would be the first in-person meeting between Kim and Xi since 2019.U.S. President Donald Trump has also offered to meet with Kim since taking office in January, but a meeting has not materialized yet.Meanwhile, Trump has repeatedly pushed Russia and Ukraine to end their war; however, a recent summit in Alaska between Trump and Putin did not yield any results. Instead, Trump has stepped up criticism of India and announced higher tariffs on the country for importing high quantities of Russian oil and indirectly supporting Moscow's war in Ukraine.The war has also drawn North Korea closer to Russia in recent years; the U.S. and South Korean officials have said that Pyongyang has been supplying weapons and troops to help aid Russia.For investors, Trump’s tariff policy with respect to China, the world’s biggest technology market and one of the biggest U.S. trading partners, is the central issue to watch.&nbsp;Businesses and economies on both sides have faced strain; however, with Washington and Beijing easing tariffs and working toward a permanent agreement, markets have improved of late.The benchmark S&amp;P 500 (SPX) recently hit a record high and is up 10.2% year-to-date. Kim, Putin, Xi To Stand Shoulder-To-Shoulder In Beijing Parade Amid Growing Tensions With Trump

The move underscores deepening diplomatic ties in Eurasia, seen as a signal to U.S. President Donald Trump, who has ramped up trade pressure on China while seeking to draw Russia toward ending the war in Ukraine.

Retail investors and analysts grew more optimistic about PDD following the Chinese company's quarterly results, and backed its strategic initiatives aimed at driving growth amid a challenging situation in the U.S. market.PDD, which operates e-commerce platforms Pinduoduo in China and Temu internationally, reported a less-than-expected 3.9% decline in net profit for the second quarter. PDD Holdings' U.S.-listed shares rose nearly 3% in premarket trading on Friday, ranking among the day's top 10 premarket gainers and trending on the Stocktwits platform.The momentum builds on a 4.2% gain in Thursday's sessions and comes ahead of the Chinese e-commerce company's quarterly earnings report on Monday.PDD operates Pinduoduo in China and Temu in international markets. The latter has grown considerably, including in the U.S., due to its focus on fast fashion and cheaper goods exported from China.With U.S. tariffs and the discontinuation of the de minimis policy, which allowed the import of cheap products from China without customs checks and duties, Temu's business has suffered in the U.S. The company has since turned its focus to the European and local markets.On Stocktwits, the retail sentiment for PDD stock shifted to 'extremely bullish' (85/100) as of early Friday, from 'bullish' the previous day, as users noted a significant overnight surge, potentially driven by whales or large investors pumping the stock.<stembedurl>https://stocktwits.com/Rasgulla/message/626164179</stembedurl><a href="https://stocktwits.com/symbol/PDD">PDD's stock</a> has recovered much of its losses in May, when it plummeted after the company reported a surprise decline in net profit and a revenue miss for the first quarter.Analysts expect PDD to report a 6.3% rise in second-quarter revenue, while adjusted earnings are seen declining over 36%, according to estimates from Koyfin.Currently, 27 of the 40 analysts covering the stock have a 'buy' or higher rating, 12 rate it 'hold,' and one rates it 'sell,' according to Koyfin.
