$KGC the question is with gold at 8K in 2030 and 10K in 2035 where will kgc go? (my GOLD targets are not bull case, but more realistic targets if we dont have a global war of course...

$KGC this will dip when they raise rates in September. Thats when you swoop in and get a decent deal on a great miner.

$KGC Kinross closed down about 10% Thursday after cutting 2026 and 2027 production guidance 2-3% below the low end, to 1.84-1.86M oz per year. TD cut its target to $35 from $40 but kept a Buy rating. Scotia and Canaccord trimmed too, ratings intact. The cut is concentrated at two smaller mines. Winter weather disrupted mining and milling at La Coipa in Chile; grades and recoveries lagged at Round Mountain. Paracatu and Tasiast, the two largest and lowest-cost operations, are still set for a combined 1.1M oz, the fifth straight year. All-in sustaining costs now guided to $1,850-$1,900/oz. Against roughly $4,300 gold, that is still around $2,400/oz of margin. And in the same release, Kinross raised its 2026 capital-return target from 40% to 50% of free cash flow, after returning about $800M this year. Q3 production is expected around 425,000 oz. That is the next check on whether the trim holds or deepens.

$KGC KGC fell 7.66% after Kinross cut full year 2026 and 2027 production guidance by about 2% to 3% because of winter weather, lower mining rates, and weaker grades at La Coipa and Round Mountain, even as the gold sector slipped only 0.39% and the S&P 500 fell 0.48%. •

$KGC $XAUUSD Pay close attention to the time frames. KGC broke ABOVE the Res line of its over decades-long channel, retested it and got a bounce, but has already given back most of those gains. IF it breaks back below Res (around 23) and confirms it as Res again, it could open the door to that demand zone in yellow between 7-11. That would probably take months, but I'm keeping my eyes on this one bc it's a relatively stable company with relatively liquid options. The fact that it broke above its channel tells me buyers got way overexcited and it's likely to continue correcting. NFA
