$HGLB  a LARGE potion of this fund is in illiquid/ opaque assets.   That is why it trades at such a massive discount to NAV (people don’t trust the NAV as it’s VERY subjective).   If they owned traditional stocks / fixed income securities and had this discount to NAV you would be seeing activist (SABA, etc.) taking large 10% owner size positions.
