More positive news today from $DTIL partner Imugene on their P1b Azer-Cell trial. Another complete response and one partial response. Immugene is gonna need to find a partner or flip this back to Precision but great news. Overall Response Rate now at 71%.

$DTIL — Precision BioSciences is taking gene editing in a different direction with its ARCUS platform. Rather than being another CRISPR company, ARCUS uses a distinct type of programmable nuclease designed for precise DNA editing. DTIL is presenting at this week’s cell and gene-therapy conference, and I’m watching for updates on clinical development and partnerships. Different editing technology + a small valuation makes this an interesting speculative biotech to research.

$DTIL Mike Weiss at TGTX, “we should have some azer-cel data at ECTRIMS.” Could be a meaningful validation event for DTIL if the signal and safety look good. ECTRIMS just got a lot more interesting.
