$CABO Based on this selloff its looking like the new loan for Mega will be highly dilutive. This could cause a pretty big selloff and a restructure of the equity. Might be a buying opportunity around 6-7.

$CABO someone spoke of a halt but I don’t think we’re halted currently. Will the judge in the Cobank request respond today or next week?

$CABO I agree, shorting into the spikes seem wise. No loans are given without a lot of shares given away cheap. JMO

$CABO extremely oversold with high short ratio, expect a bounce to $16-20 minimum this week, once debt refinancing is complete, true fair value may be closer to $50 at this time

$CABO it doesn’t matter, if the financing deal is done that lender will be paid off and the suit dismissed

$CABO mega broadband deal being stalled is bullish - the deal is effectively an additional ~400-500m in added debt, and so any chance that mega broadband can go bankrupt before the deal happens means that CABO can save the money. CABO still generates free cash flow of ~200m-300m per year after paying interest expenses, and this future cash flow should be enough to secure current debt so long as they can refinance obligations. Current bonds can also be purchased at a discount, so the 200m in fcf can actually wipe out 600m of the 2028 bonds at this moment in time.

$CABO bears going to CABO as the company draws revolving credit to strengthen liquidity

$CABO until this closes the Mega deal it’s in danger of dropping but after Oct 1 or whenever it closes this can be an easy double. They can dedicate a single quarter of cashflow and buyback 20%+ of the company

$CABO soooooo last I checked this was a 200m a year FCF business. Buying it out of bankruptcy or right now is basically the same.

$CABO Following GTCR's exercise of its put option, Cable One is required to buy out the remaining 55% of MBI. This adds roughly $480 million in immediate acquisition costs, but more importantly, forces Cable One to absorb or swap between $895 million and $925 million in inherited MBI senior secured term loans scheduled to mature in November 2027. A $1 billion loan package hast to be refinanced at a steep 12% interest rate in 2027 alongside their own maturities. IMHO THIS WILL MOST DEF. GIVE THE REST TO THIS STOCK!!!

CoBank, one of Cable One’s largest secured creditors, filed an emergency federal lawsuit in New York seeking to block a $480 million transfer to complete its acquisition of a 55% stake in Mega Broadband Investments Holdings. CoBank, which holds approximately $1.1 billion in secured credit, argued the deal would worsen Cable One’s fragile financial position and weaken its remaining asset base, noting the stake had previously been valued at just $54 million in the company’s disclosures. The lawsuit arrived on the extended closing deadline agreed upon by Cable One and private-equity firm GTCR, intensifying uncertainty surrounding the transaction. Shares had already been halted during the previous session amid volatility following a Wall Street Journal report on emergency financing arrangements. The stock erased its prior-day rally, which had been driven by plans for a $1.25 billion first-lien term loan to fund the Mega Broadband payment and refinance existing debt. $CABO
