$ASH Long, small, filled ~$70. Bloomberg Aug 7: exploring sale, bids reportedly due this month — Apollo, Carlyle, Advent, Standard Industries. What I actually looked at: Standard already owns ~10% at $54 avg. Ancora settled in July and put two directors on the board whose résumé is "sold a specialty chem company" (ex-Ferro CEO, ex-Hercules CFO). Zero insider sales in 651 days. 3,500 Oct 75–90 calls in OI. Dark pool close program the last two sessions. Stock sits at standalone fair value (~$70) — market pricing zero for the process. Deal = $85–92. No deal = $65. Stop under $64.50, out Oct 17 if nothing happens. ~55/45.
