$ABUS ABUS shareholders should pay close attention. We have been documenting unusual trading and price patterns in ABUS over an extended period of time. If Arbutus is ever acquired, shareholders deserve a fair valuation of the company, its cash, litigation claims, LNP/IP portfolio, Genevant interest and future pipeline potential — not a transaction based on an artificially depressed market price. We will continue preserving our documentation. If a future transaction were to occur at what we believe is an unjustifiably low valuation, we reserve the right to submit our documented evidence and observations regarding potential market manipulation to the appropriate regulatory authorities for independent review. This is not a threat. It is a statement that shareholders have the right to demand market integrity, transparency and a fair valuation. ABUS shareholders should not forget what this company may actually be worth. IMO Your independent financial journalist

$ABUS Allowing everyone to participate in the Dutch auction instead of just long term holders reeks of malfeasance. I’m considering dumping everything out of spite at this point.

$ABUS Fundamentally, nothing has changed. Yet the tender takes roughly 25% of the shares out of circulation. Let's realize that. The company explicitly called repurchasing its shares an attractive investment and was willing to pay up to $5.75. Don’t get me wrong, the delays are becoming very, very frustrating. But I still believe there’s a strategy being implemented to create shareholder value. It’s easy to criticize the board, but if you truly believe they’re completely incompetent and have no plan, you have to ask yourself why you’re still a shareholder.

$ABUS With the company buying back and deleting 46 million shares, the underlying pool of tradable shares shrunk drastically. As institutional investors handed their shares over to the company to cash out at $5.00, those shares were pulled out of the lending market. This is exactly why short shares have become incredibly scarce and expensive to borrow. Shorts are effectively trapped with a massive position in a shrinking float. This is precisely why investors are watching the AASLD abstract timeline so intently. If Arbutus drops a press release announcing a late-breaker presentation title, or if highly positive data drops when regular abstract embargoes lift, shorts have virtually no liquidity or available shares to borrow to protect their positions. A sudden surge of buying volume could easily trigger an aggressive short squeeze because there is simply no slack left in the stock's capital structure.

$ABUS It's truly wild that this year, the year we finally won our case against Moderna, THEY are up 520% YTD. We are down 8%. Certainly many other factors, but all the same; not exactly how I saw it playing out in my head all these many years.

$ABUS 6/7 weeks red after the dutch auction announcement. I'd hate to see what happens in a world where they aren't adding all this shareholder value.

$ABUS a dirty Game to bring the share price down so that the shareholder get the Feeling IT IS better to sell in the dutch auktion now but may be two weeks and we will reach 8 $ and much more in some months - next month would be perfect. I sell not one share !!!

$ABUS I went ahead and sold the rest of my shares. It’s clear that ROIV is just using ABUS to help themselves and institutional holders (saying ABUS is undervalued but selling a third of their position) but hurt retail. I really hope I’m wrong and everyone holding this profits greatly in the future and I lose out, but I don’t trust mgmt to actually do anything good for small shareholders. Good luck all, I hope you win and that I’m wrong!

$ABUS For those complaining we didnt get a dividend… They were very smart to do this dutch auction instead of a dividend. The money can be seen as staying with the company rather than being given out directly. Your financial friends or accountant would say the same too Kills three birds with one stone… 1. Those who want a little cash for sticking around get some 2. Equity increases for those that stay 3. Sets a floor value; from managements’ eyes we are worth more than even 5.75, as they said that still makes economic sense for them to buy at that level

$ABUS its obvious we are going to have a major rally in the near future; the question is when When gropes & pain are high, that’s the time to buy ~Catalysts - Under a 1/5-1/4 reduced O/S~ Imdusiran - P2B update in Q4 ? Partner ? Seamless design ? AB-101 - plans ? AASLD ? Moderna - Contingent Payment; Moderna/Merck - Melanoma License ? Pfizer settlement ? Genevant - continuing royalty payments ? OMERS - paid off ?

$ABUS From AI ABUS ownership update — October 7, 2026 Morgan Stanley disclosed beneficial ownership of 18,682,708 Arbutus shares, or 12.2%, as of September 30. That is up from 17,387,398 shares, or 8.8%, reported at June 30—an increase of approximately 1.30 million shares. SEC filing Why it matters: Morgan Stanley is now one of Arbutus’s largest institutional holders. The percentage increase partly reflects Arbutus’s recent cancellation of 46 million shares, but Morgan Stanley also increased its absolute position. The filing remains passive and expressly says the holdings were not acquired to influence control, so it is not an activist or takeover signal

$ABUS It’s becoming clearer every day that none of us “peons” has any idea what the real agenda is here. It looks like a shell company and the market treats it like one. Androsky is a puppet CEO for sure, but what is Gline,s incentive to let his shares erode daily? One obvious reason could be to take control (BO) but he already has de facto control though the BOD. After 6+ years I am disappointed and confused yet stubborn. (Stupid??)

$ABUS asked ChatGPT : value! ABUS – My Take on Fair Value In my view, the market is still significantly undervaluing Arbutus Biopharma. The key asset is not just the drug pipeline — it is the LNP technology and patent portfolio, which has already demonstrated enormous commercial value through the $2.25 billion Moderna settlement. Pfizer/BioNTech is now another major potential catalyst. My valuation: Current fair value: ~$10/share Best realistic 2027 price target: ~$20/share Bull case: $30+ At around $5/share, I believe ABUS offers an unusually attractive risk/reward profile if the LNP patents continue to generate settlements, royalties or licensing income. The Pfizer/BioNTech litigation could be the game changer. My view: $20 in 2027 is realistic — $30+ is possible if the major catalysts fall into place. — ChatGPT

$ABUS Panel G: November 5, 10:00 A.M., Courtroom 402 26-1581 DCT Arbutus v. Moderna [argued]. =M's appeal to the Fed Circuit from the Delaware case (1:22-cv-00252). Central issue: government contractor defense under 28 U.S.C. §1498. M's opening brief, filed May 29, 2026, says government hired it to develop +supply a novel vaccine +authorized it to use "any" patented technology in doing so. It argues that this makes the claims ones for the Court of Federal Claims against the U.S., not for district court. M and ABUS/Genevant settled in March, so this appeal now decides money, not infringement. M owed a non-contingent $950 million by July 8, 2026. Faces a contingent $1.3 B payment if it loses the §1498 appeal. If FedCircuit affirms liability, M pays up to $1.3 billion within 90 days. If M later prevails through en banc review, Supreme Court or remand, ABUS/Genevant refunds the payment with interest. If court finds the statute bars claims for some or all doses, payment is adjusted/prorated.
