Oppenheimer reiterated $TRVI Outperform-$25 and said -- We caught up w/mgmt ahead of the sample size re-estimation (SSRE) of the Phase 2b LAKE trial in refractory chronic cough (RCC). $MRK $RHHBY 𝑮̶𝑺̶𝑲̶ PLRX Oppenheimer added—We would view the recommendation to either continue the trial without change or increase enrollment as positive, as both outcomes would imply observation of a drug effect—with the latter merely serving to protect statistical power. We would be surprised to see futility given Haduvio's clinical record across chronic cough settings, but in such event we believe IPF-related chronic cough (to which we assign ~$11 incl. cash) would offer downside protection. The SSRE is anticipated in 4Q with definitive guidance to be provided w/3Q results. We attribute the recent pullback to GSK's exit from the space and see an attractive entry here.

Taplucainium missed its cough-frequency endpoint amid a large, variable placebo response, suggesting its peripheral-focused mechanism may have been insufficient to deliver meaningful efficacy in chronic cough. The result removes a potential once-daily inhaled competitor while highlighting Haduvio's differentiated central and peripheral activity and existing proof-of-concept across RCC and IPF-related cough. We view the outcome as supportive for Trevi shares, with attention now turning to the 4Q26 LAKE sample-size re-estimation and multiple clinical readouts expected in 2H27.

$TRVI just listened to the Company’s presentation at the Morgan Stanley meeting. I think shareholders are in very good stead with this management team. They are professional and on top of their game as opposed to some other chats you hear with other CEOs who mumble and bumble through their presentation, TRVI mgmt are top-notch.
