The community is very active in organising fundraising activities for deserving causes.  The developers of Dogecoin haven’t made any major changes to the coin since 2015. This means that Dogecoin could get left behind and is why Shibas are leaving Dogecoin to join more advanced platforms like Ethereum. One of Dogecoin strengths is its relaxed and fun-loving community. U.S. consumer sentiment fell to the lowest level since May, while long-term inflation expectations rose for the second consecutive month.According to a survey released by the University of Michigan, the preliminary September sentiment index declined to 55.4 from 58.2 in August, underscoring consumers' anxiety about employment prospects and the broader economy.“Consumers continue to note multiple vulnerabilities in the economy, with rising risks to business conditions, labor markets, and inflation. Likewise, consumers perceive risks to their pocketbooks as well,” said Joanne Hsu, Surveys of Consumers Director.“Consumers’ expected probability of personal job loss grew sharply this year and ticked up in September as well,” Hsu added, according to a Bloomberg&nbsp;<a target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" href="https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2025-09-12/us-consumer-sentiment-falls-to-lowest-since-may-on-job-worries">report</a>.The survey noted that the year-ahead inflation expectations remained at 4.8%, while long-term inflation expectations rose for the second consecutive month to 3.9%. “Trade policy remains highly salient to consumers, with about 60% of consumers providing unprompted comments about tariffs during interviews,” Hsu added, according to the survey.This comes at a time when weekly jobless claims rose to the highest level in four years, according to a Bureau of Labor Statistics report on Thursday. Morgan Stanley Reportedly Expects 4 Rate Cuts Through January, Says Fed Will Aim To Arrive At Neutral Rates ‘More Decisively’

According to a Bloomberg report, Morgan Stanley believes the Fed aims to arrive at neutral policy rates “more decisively” before it pauses to assess the impact of its rate cuts.

Current mortgage rates in the United States are now down to a low of almost a year, according to data from some of the biggest mortgage lenders in the U.S.Data from Freddie Mac shows that the average rate for a 30-year fixed-rate mortgage (FRM) fell to 6.35% as of Friday, down from 6.5% last week. The last time the mortgage rate for a 30-year home loan was lower than 6.35% was on October 10, 2024, according to&nbsp;<a target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" href="https://fred.stlouisfed.org/series/MORTGAGE30US">data</a> from the Federal Bank of St. Louis.U.S. Bank&nbsp;<a target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" href="https://www.usbank.com/home-loans/mortgage/mortgage-rates.html">data</a> shows that the mortgage rate for a 30-year FRM starts at 5.99%. Dow Futures Decline After Scaling Record High This Week: MSFT, WBD, ADBE, RH Among Stocks To Watch

While Dow Jones futures were down 0.19% at the time of writing, the S&P 500 futures fell 0.11%.

Stocks are on track for a lackluster session as traders, uneasy over the market’s record performance and cautious ahead of Wednesday’s rate decision, could prefer moving to the sidelines.Friday marks the first of the three upcoming sessions that could show a lack of direction.&nbsp;&nbsp;As of 4:05 a.m. ET on Friday, the Dow and S&amp;P 500 futures fell 0.15% and 0.11%, respectively, while the Nasdaq 100 futures were down 0.03%. The Russell 2000 futures pulled back a steeper 0.35%.After data showed that jobless claims climbed to the highest since 2021 and August consumer prices largely aligned with expectations, except for the monthly rate, stocks rallied sharply on Thursday. Non-tech stocks showed marked strength, especially those in the consumer, financial, healthcare, material, and real estate spaces.The bull market rally is broadening, with inflows into underperforming non-tech stocks expected to gain steam when the central bank resumes rate cuts.The Nasdaq Composite and the S&amp;P 500 Indices, which were already in record territory, hit fresh highs, while the Dow Jones Industrial Average and the Nasdaq 100 Index reclaimed their record highs.The&nbsp;<a href="https://stocktwits.com/symbol/SPY">SPDR S&amp;P 500 ETF (SPY)</a>, an exchange-traded fund (ETF) that tracks the S&amp;P 500 Index, and the&nbsp;<a href="https://stocktwits.com/symbol/QQQ">Invesco QQQ Trust (QQQ)</a> gained 0.83% and 0.58%, respectively. The&nbsp;<a href="https://stocktwits.com/symbol/DIA">SPDR Dow Jones Industrial Average ETF Trust (DIA)</a> and the&nbsp;<a href="https://stocktwits.com/symbol/IWM">Shares Russell 2000 ETF (IWM)</a> jumped 1.31% and 1.85%, respectively..Traders will look ahead to the preliminary University of Michigan consumer sentiment report, due at 10 a.m. ET. Economists, on average, expect the headline index to remain almost unchanged at 58.1 in September.&nbsp;While overbought fears restrain traders, one strategist is confident that the rally will play out for a long time. Carson Group’s Ryan Detrick said the current bull market, which will turn three years old soon, is still a rather “young” bull market.&nbsp;“History would say there is likely many more years left,” he said, adding that in the past 50 years, five bull markets got past their second birthday, and the average age was 8 years. The shortest was five years old, Detrick said.Crude oil futures extended their pullback early Friday, while gold futures rose, as they push toward retesting all-time highs. The 10-year U.S. Treasury note yield reversed course after dropping precariously close to the 4% mark.The U.S. dollar traded narrowly mixed against most major counterparts. South Koreans Return Home After Hyundai Plant Raid — Shackled Workers Greeted With Tears

Mortgage Rates On 30-Year Home Loans Witness Biggest Weekly Drop In A Year, Says Freddie Mac

Freddie Mac reported that the 30-year fixed-rate mortgage decreased to 6.35% as of Thursday, down from 6.5% the previous week.

U.S. Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick reportedly stated on Thursday that the Trump administration will work out a trade deal with India, weeks after President Donald Trump’s public criticism of the country and its economy.In an interview with CNBC, Lutnick outlined the two issues that the United States has with India – its trade barriers and its purchases of Russian crude oil.“Well, we’re going to sort out India. Weekly jobless claims rose to the highest levels in almost four years, according to the Labor Department, surpassing Wall Street estimates and pointing to weakness in the labor market.According to data released by the U.S. Department of Labor on Thursday, jobless claims rose by 27,000 to 263,000 in the week ended September 6. This was higher than an estimated 235,000, according to Dow Jones estimates, data&nbsp;<a target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" href="https://www.marketwatch.com/economy-politics/calendar">from</a> MarketWatch showed.The four-week moving average for jobless claims, which smooths weekly volatility, rose by 9,750 to 240,500.Continuing claims, which refer to the number of people claiming unemployment benefits beyond the first week, hovered in the 1.94 million range.The largest increase in claims came from Tennessee at 2,870, followed by Connecticut at 2,270, whereas the largest decrease in claims was from Kentucky at 2,833 and Pennsylvania at 504.The jobless claims surprise comes days ahead of the Federal Reserve’s September meeting, where the central bank is widely expected to announce an interest rate cut by 25 basis points.Data from CME Group’s Fedwatch&nbsp;<a target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" href="https://www.cmegroup.com/markets/interest-rates/cme-fedwatch-tool.html">tool</a> indicates a 90.8% probability that the Fed will maintain interest rates at the current 4.25% to 4.5% range.Meanwhile, U.S. equities edged up in Thursday’s opening trade.
