MS International reported that its U.S.-based defense subsidiary secured a landmark three-year contract with the U.S. Navy, marking the company’s first multi-year agreement with Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA). The deal covers MK88 MOD4 stabilized gun mounts and MK48 MOD2 electro-optical sights, with the Navy committing to 22 gun mounts and 23 sights in the first year for an initial $61.3 million.
The contract was awarded exclusively, highlighting MSI-Defence Systems US’s position as a preferred naval systems supplier. Quantities for the second and third years will be agreed annually, providing greater visibility than the company’s previous reliance on annual renewals. The award follows a €19 million NATO naval gun systems order announced in August 2026, further strengthening its defense backlog.
