$MKL You’re going to like that buy a lot if you have patience. I’ve added to my permanent equity position at a little higher price. I would expect a couple more quarters of re-insurance run-off and hope to see a 92 CR and 1.4% buyback, more or less, this quarter.

$MKL Undervalued. Great bvps growth, at a 9 P/E. Way better than Berkshire over the next 10-20 years i bet.

$MKL I am closing my position today. Through my research today about microeconomics I found that Markel group is a huge underwriter of synthetic risk transfers(SRT) . However, the CEO claims to be very diversified to meet short-term obligations in case of a credit risk. This is still too high of a risk to continue to hold for me and my opinion only. Nonetheless, best of luck to those still holding.

$MKL Look at MKL’s performance against the S&P 500 over the last 10 years, how people aren’t getting fired there one after the other is baffling, ha. This dinosaur is so beat up they couldn’t even get a decent premium on a tender offer at this point. Sad, this is what happens when everyone tells everyone how great they are all the time. This is a publicaly traded company - they’re not lifetime jobs - everyone needs to feel uncomfortable. I hope it’s not too late.
