Did you realize that Kailera ( $KLRA ) acquired the commercial rights to the compound at the center of its research from this very same Chinese company (Jiangsu Hengrui Pharmaceuticals)? $NVO also has to think about the future. A 100-year-old company doesn’t think in 1–2–3-year timeframes. If it did, that would be a very serious problem. And besides, as a first-generation dual agonist, there’s always oral CagriSema in the pipeline.

$KLRA Setup is materializing cleanly here (1-hour) We have higher lows printing off that $11.80 ish bottom shelf. A clean, decisive push above this compression zone clears the 50 SMA and opens the door for a quick run toward the 100 SMA (around $14.05), with that primary $16.50+ horizontal target in view. Range is tight, indicators are turning up, and if this clears, we’re off to the races. Stay tuned.

$KLRA New position initiated in Kailera. Been tracking this one since the April IPO, letting the standard post-IPO lockup-and-distribution cycle wash the fast money out. Five months of bleed later, the setup is very compelling and finally lines up with the valuation. Here's what the tape is ignoring, IMO... Bal sheet: $1.17B in cash and marketable securities as of Q2, runway into mid-2028, effectively zero debt. For a clinical-stage biotech, that's a fortress... they're funded through every near-term catalyst w/o needing to tap the market. Valuation disconnect: ~$1.67B MC against ~$1.17B in liquid reserves puts EV under $770M. The street is valuing the entire four-program obesity franchise -- injectable and oral dual agonist, an oral small molecule, and a tri-agonist -- at less than $800M. That's the part that got my attention. Sponsorship: Bain controls ~37.7% across two entities, alongside RTW, Canada Pension Plan, Atlas Venture, Fidelity, BlackRock, and Citadel. Insiders hold 56%. This is not a retail-sponsored name that's been abandoned... it's a heavily institutionally-owned name that got repriced by the post-IPO cycle. The asset: lead program ribupatide is a GLP-1/GIP dual agonist licensed ex-China from Hengrui. Injectable data out of China showed 23.6% mean weight loss at Week 36 with no plateau. On the diabetes side, the Phase 3 head-to-head hit non-inferiority to semaglutide 1mg at both doses, with the top 4mg dose posting statistically significant superiority on HbA1c. That's a de-risked, late-stage incretin asset in a market Big Pharma is desperate to get into. The setup: daily RSI pinned at 30, stochastics under 5-- rinsed. And the strategic backdrop is hard to ignore. In a landscape where everyone outside of Lilly and Novo is scrambling for a credible next-gen obesity asset, a fully-funded, de-risked, late-stage incretin portfolio trading at a sub-$800M EV is exactly the kind of profile that draws a bid. Starting with a common stock position here. Options aren't listed yet. Once they open up, I'll layer in derivatives for supplemental long exposure and hedging. For now, scaling in slowly and letting the thesis develop. Not a recommendation, just sharing my thoughts and position. Please DYOR and manage your risk accordingly. Giddy up.

Sized up heavy on $KLRA today. Flashed a 9 handle briefly before putting in a steady base in the mid-$10 s. Stepped in with conviction and backed up the truck... accumulating straight common for the ride. FYI: options are officially trading on the tape now for those interested. Giddy up.

$KLRA Cagrisema is GLP/Amylin and these are not interchangeable with GLP/GIP. Amylin dual agonists increase side effects whereas GIP dual agonists decrease side effects. Cagrisema is an inferior drug to Tirzepatide (WL, side effects, A1C)… KLRA chose the correct MOA
