The Pentagon is deploying a 3rd aircraft carrier strike group—led by the USS Theodore Roosevelt—to the US Central Command (CENTCOM) area of responsibility. It joins existing strike group deployments in the region to bolster regional air power & maritime presence. On track for an end of November arrival in the theater Alongside the additional carrier strike group, the deployment includes up to 10,000 additional personnel, comprised primarily of an additional US Marine Corps division/unit and support personnel, substantially expanding US ground-and-sea footprint in the region According to the latest deployment picture, 2 aircraft carriers are already operating in the Arabian Sea: the USS George Washington, which arrived in the region in mid-August, and the USS George H.W. Bush. Both are operating as part of carrier strike groups that include fighter aircraft & escort vessels, supporting US operations in the region Traffic thru the Strait of Hormuz has been steadily increasing, w/ some ests putting oil & petroleum flow thru the key waterway at nearly 80% of what it was before the US-Israeli war on Iran began on Feb 28. $ITA Looks like near 211 triple bottom may be holding. RSI is back above the oversold, and MACD is about to make a bullish crossover. $DFEN broke down further since its 3x leverage, but near 51-52 area could've been the bottom. $GE $RTX $BA

$ITA I'm thinking the triple bottom near $211 will hold, but if it doesn't, it'll probably be supported near $195. If that happens, $DFEN can drop another 25% or so to $37-$38 area. My avg. in DFEN is 54 and 56 in two accounts. I'll see if ITA rebounds at at 211 or not, and that'll determine if I just add more $DFEN or wait for bigger drop.

$ITA defense companies are oversold again as we head into a new fiscal year. Hmmm a good hedge as we enter a supposedly bad quarter for tech stocks $SPY $QQQ

$ITA clearly pricing in DSA takeover of Democratic Party / Democrats winning Mid-Terms, which means major defense cuts and no more arms sales to Israel, a major customer. With less access to American defense, $ESLT and $ONDS will really have to increase their productivity, systems, and capabilities for Israel as they must become more independent given the DSA's Red + Green Alliance.
