Guggenheim went Street-high on a biotech with no clinical data: raised its target to 60 from 40 on Friday, Buy rating, implying about 196% upside off the 20.27 prior close (Benzinga, via Watch List News). Jefferies' 50 was the prior high.
The stock needed the headline. Down 32% in a month and about 40% below its 34.89 52-week high. Friday volume ran 132% above the prior session's on the note.
The drug: DMR-001, a once-monthly subcutaneous antibody against mutCALR for myeloproliferative neoplasms, a 5B-plus market (Seeking Alpha). It is in Phase 1/1b. Incyte's mutCALR competitor is further along.
The cushion: about 540.5M in cash, runway into the second half of 2029. Guggenheim is pricing in a franchise with no human efficacy readout yet.
