Introduced as a "joke currency" on 6 December 2013, Dogecoin quickly developed its own online community and reached a capitalization of US$60 million in January 2014. Compared with other cryptocurrencies, Dogecoin had a fast initial coin production schedule: 100 billion coins were in circulation by mid-2015, with an additional 5.256 billion coins every year thereafter. Dogecoin is primarily used as a tipping system on Reddit and Twitter where users tip each other for creating or sharing good content. The community is very active in organising fundraising activities for deserving causes.  The developers of Dogecoin haven’t made any major changes to the coin since 2015. This means that Dogecoin could get left behind and is why Shibas are leaving Dogecoin to join more advanced platforms like Ethereum. One of Dogecoin strengths is its relaxed and fun-loving community. However, this is also a weakness because other currencies are way more professional. Trump Media and Technology Group (DJT) filed for five new ETFs with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission on Wednesday.<a href="http://stocktwits.com/symbol/DJT">DJT’s stock</a> edged 0.7% higher in morning trade. Retail sentiment on Stocktwits moved higher but remained in ‘bearish’ territory over the past day.&nbsp;The company said that the ETFs would carry an “America-First” theme. The new ETFs, along with requisitions earlier in the year for an ETF that track cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin (BTC) and Ethereum (ETH), would collectively be known as the “Truth Social Funds.”The five thematic ETFs include the Truth Social American Icons ETF, American Security &amp; Defense ETF, American Next Frontiers ETF, American Energy Security ETF, and American Red State REITs ETF. The company stated that the ETFs are expected to launch later this year on the NYSE Arca, although proposed fees weren’t disclosed.The company launched its ETF ambitions in June of this year, when it&nbsp;<a target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" href="https://www.cnbc.com/2025/06/03/trump-truth-social-step-toward-bitcoin-etf-launch-with-new-nyse-filing.html">announced</a> the launch of a Bitcoin-only ETF. Trump Media Seeks To Expand ‘Truth Social Funds’ With 5 New America-First ETF Filings

President Donald Trump-owned Trump Media &amp; Technology Group Corp. (DJT)&nbsp;slipped in early premarket trading on Tuesday, following gains in the previous session, after a federal appeals court upheld the $83.3 million awarded against him in the defamation case brought by author Jean E. Carroll in 2019.<a href="https://stocktwits.com/symbol/DJT">Trump Media stock</a>,&nbsp;often seen as a barometer of the president’s political and business moves,&nbsp;closed Monday up 2.2% at $17.05, with trading volume roughly in line with its three-month average.&nbsp;The stock slipped in overnight trading.&nbsp;On Stocktwits, sentiment improved slightly to ‘neutral’ (45/100) early Tuesday from ‘bearish’ the day before, even as message volume eased back to ‘normal’ levels.The ruling, which was yet to be signed by a three-panel judge of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit in Manhattan, was made unanimously, the New York Times <a target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" href="https://www.nytimes.com/2025/09/08/nyregion/trump-e-jean-carroll-defamation.html">reported.</a>Reacting to the ruling, Trump’s niece, Mary Trump, posted a link to a CNBC article on the same and captioned it as “Winners keep winning, @ejeancarroll and, well, Donald, losers just keep on losing--because they're losers.”The defamation case stemmed from Trump's accusation that Carroll’s claims of him assaulting her in a Manhattan department store in the mid-1990s were “totally false.” He had contended that it was done with the motive of selling her book.&nbsp;The plaintiff sued Trump for defamation in November 2019. Cronos coin CRO surged to an over three-year high as it continued to draw investors after its creator, Crypto.com, agreed to sign a deal with Trump Media &amp; Technology and a blank-check firm to create a crypto treasury company focused on buying and holding CRO tokens.The coin’s market valuation has surged past $11.2 billion at the time of writing, making it the 21st-largest cryptocurrency, according to data from CoinGecko. It remains the top trending cryptocurrency on Stocktwits over the past 24 hours.The deal includes the acquisition of 6.3 billion CRO tokens, about 19% of its circulating supply, as well as $200 million in cash and $220 million via warrant exercise. CRO Coin Price Hits Over 3-Year High After Trump Media Deal

The coin’s market valuation surged past $11.2 billion at the time of writing, making it the 21st-largest cryptocurrency, according to CoinGecko data.

(YORK), and Crypto.com on Tuesday announced plans to form a new digital asset firm focused on managing large-scale holdings of CRO, the native cryptocurrency of the Cronos blockchain.&nbsp;The deal includes the acquisition of 6.3 billion CRO tokens, about 19% of its circulating supply, as well as $200 million in cash and $220 million via warrant exercise. (DJT) stock rose&nbsp;1.77% in early premarket as investors reacted to the quarterly results from the parent company of Truth Social, owned by President Donald Trump.<a href="https://stocktwits.com/symbol/DJT">TMTG stock</a> was among the top ten trending equity tickers on Stocktwits early Monday.Late Friday, the Sarasota, Florida-based company reported a net loss of $0.08 per share for the second quarter of the fiscal year 2025, narrower than the year-ago loss of $0.10 per share. The net loss, however, widened to $19.98 million from $16.37 million,&nbsp;due to the ballooning of expenses, while substantially higher interest income helped offset some of the losses.TMTG’s net sales were $883.3 million compared to the $836.9 million reported for the year-ago period.&nbsp;&nbsp;The company reported that it ended the quarter with $3.1 billion in cash&nbsp;and cash equivalents, enabling it to pursue its expansion plans.
