One weakness in StockTwit is you have no way of knowing who’s a clueless 17 year old trading in a tiny account making wild postings with mom’s allowance vs. a seasoned trader making experienced and valuable postings and trading with big 6 to 7 digit accounts. 

It would be great to show following metrics on each user’s profile:
1) how many prediction polls they answered
2) and what % if the time they were accurate 

This could be from their own prediction or from ST polls like this. 

Similarly, Motley Fool has some user’s accuracy stats that is very valuable.  

To encourage participation, you can provide prizes such as:
1) free upgrade subscription for x months for top monthly or yearly predictors.  
2) require some minimal participation such as 20+ in a month.  

You can then:
3) have a web page for top 100 monthly, yearly, and all time user list along with their accuracy stats.
