I voted bearish for now because I visit the Dicks Sporting Goods every now and again where I live when I'm looking for sales there such as end of summer sales, etc. I rarely find "good deals" because Dicks goods are very overpriced in my opinion. I went there last March to look for a full snow suit. It"s the end of the winter and Dicks had a dozen priced over $350! One was priced at $600. The store was overflowing with winter clothing, etc. Not much of an effort to get rid of the winter inventory from what I could determne. Same thing is happening now. Tons of summer gear left, not much of an effort to mark it down to get rid of it through agressive advertising. Consumers look for deals and there's plenty of retail outlets both in-store and online to choose from. Dick's needs to come back down to earth.
