it’s hard to argue with Trump supporters because they’re not smart enough to understand why Trump is so terrible in the same way that Trump isn’t smart enough to be a capable president. They view critique through a very narrow binary lens, where they have a belligerently mindless knee jerk reaction that compares him to democrats rather than address the basis of the critique itself. Simply put: none of them are smart enough to have a discussion or debate over it, and ironically, their president isn’t smart enough to understand how terrible he is either because he’s too busy using the office to enrich himself as quickly as possible.
