How many rate hikes do you expect from the Fed in 2026?

The Federal Reserve hasn't raised rates at all in 2026, but hawkish comments from Fed Chair Kevin Warsh at the Jackson Hole symposium have pushed September rate hike odds as high as 66%, a sharp jump from under 40% just a week earlier. How many rate hikes do you expect from the Fed in 2026? Vote and explain your reasoning in the comments.

Donald again is hell bent on creating a staglflationary economy. Very high tariffs, oil pushing base inflation higher. If the Fed starts raising be very scared. Old Mc Donald needs to lower tariffs and end the war with Iran.

Inflation is temporary, partially driven by globalist oil speculators. Much remains from the release of C19 to steal the election from Trump in '20 and Briben's spending on fraus and illegals, which is no longer happening. The Iran war can't last and the straight will either open completely or be bypassed. Job numbers are down. Trump is trying to bring industry back to the US and needs low rates to help do that, yet there are forces that want the US to continue to be screwed by foreign manufacture of trash products. If the Fed raises rates right before the midterms, it would be the second time they have done so against Trump. Political bias much?

I think 0. Housing is already cracking because of the current interest rate. We have homes listed for a year or more around me that wouldn’t have lasted a week just a few years ago

Rate hikes are a head fake from the Fed to shake people up. They have other ways to control rates.

Errybody and dey Momma know interest rates should be lower. Why?!? Because look at them......Mortgage Rates are way high preventing homes not to be sold or bought, interest rates on car loans are way too high, so much so that there are 10 to 12 Year loans now so that one can afford the payments, and don't get me started on credit card interest rates......These banks are greedier than a mofo.......UNREAL!!!! The Fed needs to do the right thing like Spike Lee and LOWER, NOT RAISE interest rates for the sake of the PEOPLE!!!!!!

raising interests rates might remove cash from the system. But the chain effect is higher interest rates for private banks, so higher rates for those taking / having taken credits like businesses, so businesses have to charge higher rates on customers so customers get prices inflation. What even is the mechanism that is proposed to fight inflation by higher central bank repo rates? Can some explain. Where did it ever work? In history?
